^Printing credit cards, Stoke?...
It works
Seeing if i can post some piccies.
Tried downloading to my teakdoor album - files are to big.
I'm a bit wary of using links to photobucket - not sure if everyone can see all the photos on photobucket.
What a pain in the arriss.
WNS I upload on Facebook then copy & paste on TD.
It's quick & easy.
I've done that before (and the test photo was just done like that) - but when i clicked onto the posted photo i could access my photobucket account and look at ALL the other photos on there, which is probably not a good thing.Originally Posted by Ratchaburi
Any way to stop that and retain a bit of privacy?
EDIT. Sorry, it wasn't Facebook it was photobucket.
Browser ?
If Firefox or Chrome
Rehost Image - Home
I use firefox - cheers for that Mid, i'm looking at that now, but due to my innate thickness it might be a while before i can post up the piccies.Originally Posted by Mid
adds an extra option to the right click menu
If unsuccessful , find image url and open that in a new tab then use the right click
successful in excess of 90 % for me .
if you have ad block installed it also offers a way of finding url's , just remember to cancell NOT block
Can't get the file to open.
Thanks for the advice, but it's less hassle just to throw my toys out of the pram.
Shame really, but hey ho.
File too big.
Make file smaller.....
It's the quality (not size) usually that makes the file too big. Your screen is 72dpi (dots per inch). On a "fine" setting on a digital camera it might set at say 300dpi. Also if set on fine, the image might be 3-4000 pixels high/wide.Originally Posted by withnallstoke
Either
a: change setting on camera to smaller less quality image.
or
b: open the image in photoshop and then "save for web and devices" (it's about half way down on the "File" tab when you click it and the menu drops down). That will change the dpi to 72 and make the image file size much much smaller so you can upload it quickly.

ive just added that extension to chrome, so if i want to include an image in a post, do i just right click the image and cut and paste the image into the post by clicking the rehosting option. surely it cant be that simple.
does adblock have to be turned off before clicking the rehost option ??????
