What is an efficient itinerary a Philippines & Thailand tour ?(family trip)

This is a trip for the family in a couple years.

Manila to Koh Samui is an 8 hour flight. That sucks. Manila to Pattaya is just 3 hours. More acceptable. Pattaya has good shopping and has the water park. Would be fun I think.

I was just wondering if there was any insider knowledge in doing the Philippines/Thailand tour.

I doubt it takes 5 hours to fly from Bangkok to Samui. Maybe 45 minutes.

Why do you want to visit the PI?

My significunt other is from there. I went there already in 2014 for 3 weeks. Did Manila , Makati , Burocuay, maranducay.

But the casual trip infrastructure just isn't there compared to Thailand. So for the R&R, I just want to go to Thailand

I just googled flight distances. I. Knew it sounded wrong. Must have been Milan instead of Minlila

Good to see your mental capacity is up to par . . . so, just go to Thailand and let your 'significant other' visit her family. You know you want to catch up with some of your previous 'girlfriends'.

Charming. I'm sure she is a lovely girl, an accountant perhaps?

You still believe Thailand hasn’t changed since your last visit? lol
Have at it dipstick. Thailand is relying on idiots like you, just to get back to pre-Covid levels of dumb tourism.
Samui does have a few good points, but you will never find them where you’re looking.

Heard it all in 2008. That was a bigger wipeout than this in some ways.

Still can get big bikes for 1000 baht a day

^ I was just trying to do some research on the fly , while I'm driving . Just trying to get a feel for the fiesta distances. I remember seeing flights from Borocay to Thailand when I was there. Judging by those prices , it didn't seem that far away

Take a walk on wild side and get Katie to take you up the Khyber Pass with one of her walking poles spinner.

It is an eye-watering experience by all accounts...

Well, the flight time from Christmas to Easter is a long one, so that translates to USD$3.18/km

When I first moved to Bangkok I got off the train and asked the taxi driver to take me to Soi 1.

He asked which one and I had absolutely no idea there was more than one

In November 2008 Swampy was closed for two weeks, by political protests, just before the high season for tourists. When the protesters were removed, flights were available at 50% of normal costs. Of course your experience may be affected by local events. Other countries are available, assuming of course that you can spell them.
