^I don't watch his vids abt expat dating, etc but some of his motorbike trips were OK. They were good to watch during covid lockdown. His voice is a bit monotone, though. Mr. Asia@night is sometimes funny, so that's to his advantage as a vlogger.

Drama guete

^Lol, yeah. I've heard it called as such... Drama guete. I think Duma is becoming the equivalent of Pattaya, not so much for the walking street & gogo bars (I think it's still Angeles for those stuff) but due to the large number of expats.

It's a soft landing zone for foreigners and as such, it's been gentrified. Rents are higher, compared to other 2nd tier cities (excluding Metro Manila i.e. BGC and Makati CBD). Duma also gets a lot of misfits and drama queens. It's good that the city doesn't have high rises, else it might grow a reputation for "balcony jumpers" . Accdg to others, the traffic & air pollution from vehicles are also bad. It's good that there's sea breeze and it has a promenade, features which make the city nicer. It's also near Valencia which is up in the hills, so has cooler temps (not as low as Baguio, it's more like Tagaytay temps).

If I were to live in the Visayas region, I'd probably choose Iloilo city, just because I have friends there and in nearby Antique province. I also liked the vibe in Iloilo.
