Again thanks to all of you who understood the emotion behind the thread. Without the help of the pattaya community I would have been in little room with myself, my wife my twins, my maid and even my persian cat, and the wifes stupid poodle. instead I found a community that i had no idea existed, friends I will keep forever, and memories that are indelibly etched in my mind

it was stressful enough even with the nice house that LT got us, but we are home now and i have put a new battery in my car, got it started and am now taking it to a joint that will deodorize it, and finish the last bits of cleaning.

upon return from the shop I have to get the water blaster and clean all the walls around my house as the water was 18 inches high, and the remains are black sludge.

Nice to know there are caring people willing to give a helping hand when needed. Kudos to the cream of the crop on TD.

For those that are interested Eliminator is back in his house finally and is quite busy repairing the considerable damage caused by the flooding.

He also has the support of some other kind Teakdoor people (they know who they are) helping out where they can.

Keep that chin up mate, I know the stress you have been under but you will get through it.

I'm not sure about the first bit, as the Midget could give him a good run for his money, but the second part of that statement is spot on.

I like this thread. I like the sentiments voiced, the expressions of common decency combined with the grittiest detail on the results of the floods, the photos of the food and the fact that everyone has nice, brown shapely legs. I give it five stars.

The same sentiments were passed around regarding you mate. I had expressed how much help you had been on our family trying to get to koh Chang. Best to you and yours, it is coming together much faster than I could have thought. Cheers.

    Actually I'd help anyone mate.

But some people are unable to discern between TD/the internet and reality.

Which can be quite amusing at times it must be said.
