    Dolphins

    got some friends visiting and they are looking for a few days out, they came back with a leaflet for some dolphin place near phoenix golf club, never even heard of it myself, has anybody been and is it expensive, appreciate any replies, cheers

    I forgot to add... and you climb over a fence to get in, and dont buy anything whilst there, you deffo wont enjoy yourself then anyway.

    Yes, forget going to the local Pattaya rip-off place...

    Instead maybe your guests will have a much better and less costly time
    at the Dolphin park in Chanthaburi. It not that far a drive from Pattaya:

    There's a thread on here somewhere talking about these dolphin shows in Pattaya. I won't search for it as I'm on a phone and navigating is a bitch, but it generally backs up exactly what Harry said.

    Nah, I generally stay away from anything involving 'animal shows' in Thailand.

    Went there a few months ago. The kids enjoyed it, but the place was a tip. The complex needs a complete makeover.

    I have no problems with the crocodile shows and maybe the snake farms.

    But otherwise I agree. I was once to a marine aquarium and it was a horror.
