    Cherry restaurant's new look

Cherry restaurant on 3rd road opp. the recently closed Xzyte disco represents good value and service. They have just done some renovations of their entrance. What do you think?

A good restaurant with proper service and well worth a visit.

Their salad bar is very good and the main meals are great value.

And you can tell all of this from their patio?

Yes, the OP is crap but just trying to give you a heads-up about a place worth visiting Harry.

By the way smoking isn't allowed on the premises, not even a smoking room at reception.

Have to agree with Harry on this one. The entrance provides no visual cues as to the style and character restaurant. Its just a generic porch. But the that's how many businesses are in Thailand - not fully thought through.

I need to see a photo of it before the renovations before I could give an opinion.

The tiles are nice and shiny, and the curtains and plants give it that "natural" ambience. I wonder if there is an ash tray on the small table in the corner?

This is actually the main entrance in the adjacent soi.

The entrance on Third Road opposite XCite Disco.

    And the main dining room.

Great food with a free salad bar, attentive service and will not break the bank.

I would love to take my family to this restaurant. Thanks LT. Damn if you need a smoke so bad during the hour or hour and a half you eat dinner go out in the car park and have a puff.

Nice to see the front side of it.

The Restaurant is well worth a visit and I will take the family there again after I have sampled a few other places.

I actually like the no-smoking rule and have no problems about stepping outside.

The damn came from the spread split and was not directed at you. I might be out there before the meal getting the munchies......

But when I do head down the eastern seaboard again I hope to meet up. Seems your wife and I might enjoy cooking while you enjoying chatting with mine and watching a bunch of kids run around.

    ^ Your always welcome mate.

In fact just recently had a nice weekend with a relative of another TD member sitting on the balcony eating spare ribs and drinking cold beer.

We had heaps of Rissoto, I think I had Osso Bucco and the rest had Italian and it was great.

Quite an extensive menu with a huge room from which you can select your wine and as I said before a great salad buffet.

All in all well worth a visit.
