Cherry restaurant on 3rd road opp. the recently closed Xzyte disco represents good value and service. They have just done some renovations of their entrance. What do you think?

Hardly going to pull the fucking crowds in, is it?
A good restaurant with proper service and well worth a visit.
Their salad bar is very good and the main meals are great value.
haveing a bad day HARRY? ya sound a tad grumpy mate..
Yes, the OP is crap but just trying to give you a heads-up about a place worth visiting Harry.Originally Posted by harrybarracuda
By the way smoking isn't allowed on the premises, not even a smoking room at reception.
Have to agree with Harry on this one. The entrance provides no visual cues as to the style and character restaurant. Its just a generic porch. But the that's how many businesses are in Thailand - not fully thought through.
The tiles are nice and shiny, and the curtains and plants give it that "natural" ambience. I wonder if there is an ash tray on the small table in the corner?

No, but they have one of those small wooden croaking frogs from the short people with the long necks.
Shes a little ripper. I would not hesitate for a second.
Nice one LT, that's more like it.
Impact : Please take note.
I would love to take my family to this restaurant. Thanks LT. Damn if you need a smoke so bad during the hour or hour and a half you eat dinner go out in the car park and have a puff.
Nice to see the front side of it.
The Restaurant is well worth a visit and I will take the family there again after I have sampled a few other places.
I actually like the no-smoking rule and have no problems about stepping outside.
The damn came from the spread split and was not directed at you. I might be out there before the meal getting the munchies......
But when I do head down the eastern seaboard again I hope to meet up. Seems your wife and I might enjoy cooking while you enjoying chatting with mine and watching a bunch of kids run around.
^ Your always welcome mate.
In fact just recently had a nice weekend with a relative of another TD member sitting on the balcony eating spare ribs and drinking cold beer.
Yep...just another entrance to another 2 mil thai house, trying to look like a restaurant...in response to the orig post..ok
^ Can you give that one to us once again in English this time please?
Any meal recommendations ?
What's the European cuisine like ?
Aging One, on your way down there, you're very welcome to drop one of those pizzas off at mine mate
We had heaps of Rissoto, I think I had Osso Bucco and the rest had Italian and it was great.Originally Posted by sabaii sabaii
Quite an extensive menu with a huge room from which you can select your wine and as I said before a great salad buffet.
All in all well worth a visit.
Gheez , this place is faux haute cuisine at it's best
Just a look at all the sad geezers eating there is a dead give away
