Bullshit. Anybody who knows anything about pizza would never order a pizza like that. It's found on menus only to satisfy visiting brits.

    Produced by an American company.

There is no such thing as a 'crime against pizza' imo- a purist would say the dish itself is a crime. Heck, whatever works for you- lob it on. I personally like mine topped with fresh rocket (that's aragula for the Americans).

    Good idea that.

Think my next pizza will be a baked bean, pineapple and rocket.

Nonsense. Pizza like, other Italian food, is defined by simplicity and the high quality of the ingredients ie. the finest flour, tomatoes, cheeses, meats, olive oil etc. When you start 'lobbing' on stuff like pineapple you completely ruin the concept. I will reserve judgment on your personal favorite but it smacks of yuppie pretentiousness.

    Really? From their website:

    315/163-164 Thappraya Rd, Jomtien

    For Delivery Call: 087 609 8770

30 THB delivery charge in Pattaya - 40-50 THB in Naklua

40 to 50 THB delivery east of Sukhumvit and Darkside (Check Availability)

Dillinger, FYI, the smiley means the post is lighthearted. Get over yourself please, you're starting to be a tedious old fart.

They are a guilty pleasure of mine but I'm not allowed them anymore. Particularly before any car journeys.

Brooklyn Diner make good pizzas and are handily on the food panda app. No need to even speak to anyone, except the delivery person.
Lovely base with crunchy bubbled dough at the edges. I order mine with double mozzarella.

I haven't tried NY pizza yet but have heard good things. Must give them a go.

For the record, I found Scoozi Pizza to be the best in Bangkok. Not too thick and cheesy, and they have an option for wholemeal flour.

They have a few different branches. You do need to pay for the extra toppings of your choice, but still not expensive.

The reviews are quite mixed though...http://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Restau...a-Bangkok.html

When I am in Pattaya and fancy a pizza I go to Hopf Brewhouse.

I would think given the nature of a pizza anything delivered will not be as good as something straight from the oven.

On the dark side I just had the best burger I think I have ever had in Asia in Pumpois Pizzareia on the dark side. Absolutely perfect (with one very minor aberration in that they used that shit fake yankie cheese slice which for a couple of frogs is a massive letdown.) Brilliant it is. The Pizza's are very good as well.

this is from their facebook page. It is a bloody awesome burger where the meat is the star!

Pic of their PIzza also from their facebook.

Do you ever go outside a radius of 300 metres from Gulliver's ? Is the sum of your knowledge of Thailand that which is to be gleaned from the lower Sois of Sukhumwit ?

I like pork chop and chips in the Sportsman Bar but I have HP sauce instead of gravy. What is the Eden Club like ?

NY Pizza House is fantastic but this new place in Jomtien is going to give them a serious run for their money. Located next to Pastrami on Rye by the same owners. In addition to thin and pan pizza they have Chicago style deep dish and Sicilian pizzas. Seriously good stuff for pizza lovers.[/QUOTE]

In the same premises. And their Pizza's are quite good. Different style than NY Pizza House which can be really overloaded if you want it that way!

^Here's a thin crust half taco half crazy Hawaiian from American Pizza Factory / Pastrami on Rye. For my money they're the best pizza in Pattaya, the only draw-back being you have to eat them as soon as they come out of the oven or the crust goes hard. No problem if you eat-in or live very close by for delivery though.

Their sandwiches are also excellent, pulled pork being my favourite. And they do a good pancake breakfast too.

Vege constitutions from the Build your Own at NY Pizza. Very good indeed. It was for the missus as the resident vege, hence the tomato sauce on it.
