Socal, do you swim in the water off the beaches of Patters ?
Socal, do you swim in the water off the beaches of Patters ?
yeah I have, why ?
I did the first time i was there by myself. Even a bar girl swam with me but a few months later, i guess the rumors got to the bar girl and she wouldn't go in again.
I guess i need to give her a tour of the muti million dollar, 10 year old water treatment plant that she thinks doesn't exist.
I have swam in there at 4am
I met this nutty bird a couple of years back, I will cut a long story short, she threw her pink flip flops in there
Some girls on the beach pointed into the sea. I saw what I thought was this girls head about 200 metres away
I stripped down to my shorts and off I went, only to find it was a buoy.
I swam back to shore, shouting her name but to no avail.
I put my clothes back on only to find my wallet, phone, driving license and hotel keys and the girls who had been sat there, Gone
I went back to the hotel, explained to the staff, they wouldn't ring the police, told me I had to go to the Station on some soi.
I was convinced she had killed herself, went back to the beach screaming out for her and there she was sat on a deck chair after watching the whole thing.
There are a lot more deadlier things in Pattaya than that beach
Stop talking shit

trick question: have you ever been to Pattaya socal ?
Ive been to most beaches in Thailand and the above photo is typical after a storm blows through and deposits all the shit back on the beach especially in Monsoon season. On Koh Tao the locals are out every morning cleaning it all up.
Fisherman and local Thais are the worst culprits as they don't give a fok unless they are directly attached to the tourist industry and just throw there rubbish over board.
I once seen this fisherman draining his oil directly into the water on Koh Phan-gan, Jeez that twisted my head around but fok all I could do about it.
Swimming in Pattaya Bay ?????? Urm no thank you Socal.
Pattaya beaches have to be the worse I have seen in Thailand and wouldnt let my kids or myself swim there.Originally Posted by socal
To say its not polluted is total bullshit. The beach is a rubbish dump. I would think to Thais are blaming all the farang for the rubbish.
its not a troll topic.
where do you stand ?
I was in Pattaya about 2 days ago, been there around 6 or 7 times. Don't be one of the bullshitters man. I never said it was the cleanest beach in the world but what I am saying is that the sewage is treated and the beach front hotels have an interest in keeping the water clean.
Can honestly say the tourists I mix with are well educated about pollution and the need to protect the environment.
Very rarely have I witnessed tourists dropping there shit around but many times have witnessed Thais throwing shit in the water when standing next to a bin.
Foking hopeless some of them are.

^ There you go...Another victim of the "beach is dirty" bullshit crowd.Swimming in Pattaya Bay ?????? Urm no thank you Socal.
Would you swim in Patong beach or Talum beach in mexico ? Would you swim in any beach or are you just too cool for Pattaya beach ?
it's not only the sewage from the hotels, but the locals dumping shit, they are illiterate peasants and that's how they do it
and then don't forget the oil tankers cleaning act, they do it all the time, and there is oil all the time on those beaches
swimming there is crazy, always amuse me seeing tourists doing it. Actually it was acceptable 10 to 15 years ago, but with the city growing so rapidly in the recent years, it got much worse by 1000 times.
stay away from the beach, even a whore after some hardcore night with a fat German won't swim there
I really dont know if the large hotels dump into the sea or not but its not just a few chip packets thats for sure. Where you catch the boat to Koh samet a hour down the road I have seen a group of logs floating around.Originally Posted by socal

One of the the biggest project ever planned in Pattaya city is the 1,800 million baht wastewater treatment plant. There are two wastewater treatment plants in Pattaya City. In late 2000, Pattaya became the first and only resort in Asia to have a fully integrated water treatment system. The opening of the wastewater treatment
plant and its subsequent operations can be considered one of the most significant
developments to take place in the city’s history.
Oh of course, that is why they built the water treatment plant, so oil tankers could dump oil into the beach.and then don't forget the oil tankers cleaning act, they do it all the time, and there is oil all the time on those beaches
Full on retard was an under statement.....So you swam in the beach when it was actually dirty The rehabilitation of Pattaya has been an ongoing project dating back to 1997.swimming there is crazy, always amuse me seeing tourists doing it. Actually it was acceptable 10 to 15 years ago, but with the city growing so rapidly in the recent years, it got much worse by 1000 times.
The board members of The Pattaya Chapter of the Thai Hotel Association (chaired
by the MD of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort) and Pattaya Business and Tourism
Association - the two most important tourism-related associations in Pattaya -
played an instrumental role in rallying the active support and participation of
private sector businesses.
Thats because retards like you convinced them that raw sewage gets pumped into the bay when it actually doesn't.stay away from the beach, even a whore after some hardcore night with a fat German won't swim there
This whole retard show even had me convinced for a while.
Even if there weren't any sewage being pumped into the bay (highly unlikely since the residents here know better), I wouldn't swim at Pattaya beach. It's a cess pit and filthy just by the looks of it. I'd rather go out to Koh Samet for sea swimming, it's less populated and there are currents taking shit away from the island.Originally Posted by socal
socal, you dummy, let's make it simple. Every expat residents living there will tell you the same thing, it's not a myth, it's facts. You are a fucking sex tourist who come here once a year and you are going to lecture us with some news article you found online ? Could you be any more retarded ? please don't answer that
In case you pulled a butterfly and didn't read my original post...
-In late 2000, Pattaya became the first and only resort in Asia to have a fully integrated water treatment system.
-plant and its subsequent operations can be considered one of the most significant
developments to take place in the city’s history.
- has regulation and enforcement of environmental standards.
- the Royal Cliff Beach Resort was the first individual business in
Pattaya to build its very own wastewater treatment facility to combat harmful
effects of water pollution.
- first in Thailand to achieve the ISO 14001 environmental certification
Now you know.
and yeah it can't serve the whole city, it's completely under capacityOriginally Posted by socal
right, maybe on paper but enforcement is another issue here, you should know that by nowOriginally Posted by socal
who cares, there are hundreds of hotels these days polluting far more than the RCBROriginally Posted by socal
There is no sewage being pumped into the bay. You are just scared by the reputation of it.
Koh samet sucks, it is set up like a camp ground. You walk in shit there. Plus homosexuals like to go there. I have been there 2 times and both times i seen lots of fags. Koh Chang is way better and has less fags.
fucking ladyboy ass and swimming in shit, socal is one dirty pervertOriginally Posted by terry57
