    Billabong Hotel Soi LK

    Hi all

Thinking about staying at the Billabong on Soi LK.

The website does not confirm if the wifi is available in-room.
Has anybody stayed here, or the metro apartments also on soi LK Metro?

Any reviews would be most appreciated

    Thanks

I would think that the Billabong would be a bit noisy being so close to the festivities of Pattaya. I always found a secluded place away from all that mess myself. You can hop on one of those friendly and safe baht buses and get anywhere in the city for cheap.

"We have a 24 hour bar, live music, stunning hostesses"

The live music thing puts me off.

Never heard of the place mate and I would follow Chitown's advice and find somewhere more quiet.

Then again if they have vegemite it is probably worth putting up with the din!

You seem quite sceptical about the safety of the baht buses.
I've been told that the late night/early morning Beach Road route can be dangerous, due to LBs.
I may utilise taxis for late night travel, however i do plan on using baht buses throughout the day.

    G'day Chachi,
I've always liked staying at Shagwell Mansions in Pattaya Klang. Little outa the way but there are always bikes outside who'll take you anywhere. Walking Street only about ten minutes away, 40 baht on a motocy. Staff are fantastic and very friendly, great food too.
Outback bar is okay too but there are quite a few within walking distance. More for a few before you head out kind of places.
Worth a look at least once in your life.
