The same thing happened to my brother when he was riding his moto-X bike by the River Murray at Mannum. I guess some local wankers didn't like the noise or something, although he was riding on a biking trail. Only a little scratched, fortunately.

I have taken my 10 and 14 year old daughters to both Bangkok and Pattaya and spent time in the ladyboy bars etc with not a problem at all. the people are great fun and give total respect to everyonr that visits. why does everyone look to the negative of thai people. There is bad in every race.
but most are fantastic people

Re the fella who nearly got his head chopped off in Pattaya on his motorbike - im that fella, a friend just sent me a link. To anyone sympathetic to me about this incident, thank you, to any idiots who wrote silly things....... ive nothing to say. One thing that has saddened me is people who think i actually made this up. Im capable of making up better stories - however, as any mature person knows, life is more often stranger than fiction.

This was a very scary incident, and yes, the trivial things have pissed me off, i.e struggling to shave, haircut overdue, people staring............ but im ex miliatary 24 years, so ive mainly brushed it off as one of them things that happens, i woke next day, sun was still shining, the beer was still cold, and most the Thais i see are lovely charming people. So i get on with it, and think no less of the Thais than i did before this incident, theres scum everywhere, i still like thailand, thai people, and have no intention to move.

I do however always make sure theres at least one motorcyclist in front of me when i ride now tho - top tip ;-)
