    Excellent post Backspin.

It is my opinion there are doctors who are complicit in the deaths of thousands of people by forcing them unto the street to buy drugs. It's a fucking travesty, nothing less. I am currently taking this up with the B.C. Medical Association and have recieved veiled threats from them but I think I may have them on the back foot at this juncture.

    Like I previously said:
You were probably grandfathered in then.

I've heard of ppl faking suicide and still not getting them. Tweaker ? Valium is the opposite of tweaking. I heard it from the doctor myself. The doctor said the new guidelines prevent them from prescribing them. You will probably get cut off of them too eventually.

You could get $10+ a piece for those on the darknet.

That will definitely have the opposite effect i.e. guaranteed no sedatives, guaranteed no opiate based items.

Every doctor has the exact same story. It's part of medical school curriculum probably first or second year.

Of course not opiates. Nobody can get opiates fot anything now. My buddy just had a surgery. No opiates. Just some high dose of asetemiphen which is really bad for the liver.

People that had long term opiate prescriptions fot pain and using them as prescribed are getting cut off.

Dentists will not give you opiates for anything either.

You heard the guidelines excuse too ?

They are restricting it, not banning it. Doctors can see your history of prescriptions, and when they look at mine they see about 30 pills every six months. Not exactly at risk of addiction or long term side effects.

I can see why friends of yours would be denied when you say stuff like this:

I have a hard copy of the guidelines Backspin and gurarantee you they say nothing similar to what you have been led to believe.

The guidlines say there are appropriate uses for all medications including the two above groups; those are the official guidlines.
Behind the scenes and unofficially the reality is very different. The Medical Association exert extreme pressure and even threats towards doctors who prescribe the two drug groups. These are the folks that should be named and shamed and dismissed. Of course the bureacrates don't the balls to take on the evil Medical Association who are the people complicit in murder.

It is following the same track as the opiates. First they restricted new prescriptions. Then they started cutting people off prescriptions that they've had for a long time. And once they do that , they create a shortage which brings in the cartels to produce their own. Then some ppl die from bad batches of cartel drugs. So they cut even more people off. And then even more ppl die

Yeah well. The guidelines are the dictator now. Because doctors can be sued if they are allegedly going against the guidelines

KHN, I'll make note of the resource.

Of course those are 2019 and American guidelines.

Anyway, thanks for bringing this issue forward. It really does require a good and frank public discussion.

Quite why the self indulgent consume prescription drugs, lawfully or otherwise, because of anxiety or "PTSD" is puzzling not least because anxiety is simply a normal reaction to life and its many vicissitudes.

The highest 'anxiety' levels russ experiences are probably when he struggles to unwrap his munchies.

Some people seem to think you need to have napalmed a Vietnamese village to have PTSD.

It's one of those words that just has associations that distort people's perception of it.

as s.a. correctly states, anxiety is a normal occurrence.

todays woke snowflake generation seem to think that anxiety, as exhibited by people whose amazon parcel doesn't arrive on time or have read an unflattering remark on tic tok is a "mental health problem" and necessitates emergency counselling.
