First off I owned a Yamaha R6 for a few years. But. You get your nuts ripped off, you might lose your job (if you license is part of it) and your insurance rates go up if you get a speeding ticket. Plus in a place like Canada, the bike sits in storage for most of the year because the weather is shit.

So if Im going on a holiday anyway, and i need to get around, and it doesn't matter if you get speeding tickets, why wouldn't I want to rent a bike ?

I know how to ride and if I die, it wont be my fault

So you've never had an experience with them ?

The problem here is it won't be your fault as you said but you will die and they won't treat you unless you cough up a CC or load of cash. I have witnessed numerous westerner asshats zip through town on R6s and R1s and they are playing Russian roulette.

I get your point about bikes in storage. I had an R1 and GSXR 750 R and winter would come and they sat.

I, like you, can ride and have 2 Motos here but I would never rent or ride in Pattaya safer to catch a Songteuw or a Tuk Tuk.

Yes it does. But you will just leave and not worry about the fine. Which will have to be paid by the person or company you rented the bike through. Once again showing what a low life you are.

I meant that in jest of course. What I mean is , I take riding big bikes very seriously. I am not riding around like an oblivious idiot. I know the kind of ppl you are talking about. I'm not one of those idiots

Try eating spare-ribs for your first time before getting really adventurous and pulling up a stump at somewhere like the Kinnaree or Camel Toe

In fairness Fondles, Cameras usually cannot determine the license plate number due to the cameras poor resolution. Add to that most riders do a license plate mod where they tuck them up underneath the rear cowl. . Not that I know anything about it or have done it on my motos....

Yeah I forget bout the "tail tidy".

Red light cams do take excellent pics of my rear number plate on me truck.

I don't remember what I did. But I did pay them ! I remember someone convinced me to just pay them.

It was never about the cost of tickets. Just that you don't get points against your license

Yeah I have a few. Most the front was clear like it was 1080p. The rear not so clear. I am seeing more and more where they have "gently" rubbed off just enough black paint on the plate lettering making them virtually impossible to determine. Also some have placed a reflective plastic license plate cover and the Camera cannot see the plate number. Again not that I am using any of those tactics as I am a law abiding speeder..

But according to you, speeding tickets don’t matter in Thailand? Speeding is an offense for very good reason, so you are, in fact, exactly one of those idiots who ignores laws, because they don’t apply to you.

Morons like you cause accidents because you ignore the rules for driving safely. Check your rear view mirror occasionally, and witness the carnage behind you. Muppet.

Changed the goal posts and did not answer the question presented. Still a liar. Your MO which will see the mods patience wear thin and see you back in the clink.
