In fact most of the people I know that live in Pattaya City and adjacent suburbs are looking to relocate to the darkside.

The fact remains they need to clean up the place and install proper infrastructure such as a sewerage sytem, get rid of most of the red-light industry and before they can make any comparisons with other Asian holiday destination Cities.
Getting rid of the red lights in Pattaya is like getting rid of the red lights in Amsterdam or Las Vegas. Won't happen in anyone's lifetime

I suggested getting rid of most of it. It would help if you slowed down and read the posts carefully.

Most western cities have red light areas and Pattaya should retain a small area away from the main tourist area that caters for the mongers.

I've never lived in Pattaya, but I have ... no, I can't say that on a family forum

My friend lived in Chonburi, literately a few hundred metres the other side of the train line.

I've seen both sides of both sides, light and dark have their merits and detractions.

As an aside, my friend worked for years on international cruise liners ... been to more than double the places I have visited.

^^^^Relocation is happening now and has been for quite some time. Ok there's a pandemic on obviously but Soi's 7 and 8 are as good as gone now and won't be making a comeback (they've been on life-support for years anyway), there's maybe 4 or 5 Gogo bars open on Walking Street when there was about 20 of them this time last year, and the bar-beer complexes along Beach Rd are all deader than disco. LK Metro, Soi Boomerang, Soi Pothole, Soi Full Love, and other locations off Buakow and 3rd Rd are the new monger areas.

You could spend a month living in a Beach Rd hotel without even know where I'm talking about or stumbling across any of them by accident, even though they're within walking distance. Then there's always going to be some action on the Darkside too (Paradise still being a personal favourite but even though I know the Darkside quite well I need a GPS to find its latest location!) so the prudes and jesus wheezers are NO chance of having their faith tested by stumbling across places like that, or even knowing the Darkside exists. But back to the point, it's not going to be the problem some think to relocate the bulk of the sex industry away from where the typical tourist is ever going to venture.

Soi Chayapoon (or simply the poon) are it's other names. It's name on Google Maps is way too hard to pronounce.

How would you compare pre pandemic (2019)to say 2006 ? Percentage wise , how many less go-go's ? 20% ? I just have no idea.

In 06, I vaguely remember every street being loaded with them. Then when Central Festival went up , things started to change

You are just as fuct as he is. If they were any thinner they wouldn't have any female features.

Seems that is what you guys are going for.

That is what normal female stomachs look like when they are not posing for a camera. They wouldn't register anything on the high side body mass wise. Most likely they'd be on the lower side. But hey. Look at those fat chicks.

I like them on the heavy side. And I'm ok with getting my balls busted for liking ones on the heavy side IF they are actually on the heavy side which there's clearly aren't.

This is what normal body mass female stomachs look like. There is nothing fat about them.

This is one of my pet peeves. Ppl who say that every woman is fat. Even if they aren't. Just shut the fuck up. There's enough fat women out there that we don't have to call the ones with normal body mass fat too

I would say peak numbers for gogo bars here would've probably been around 2014 to 2016. Around that time, locals started going to G Clubs for their fun instead and their numbers began to increase. There must be about 15 or 20 of them spread around outside the tourist areas now and unless you knew what you were looking for you could walk straight past one without thinking it's anything besides a house with a few bikes parked outside.

That place opposite the Triangle bar had some chubby looking scrubbers when I was there last. Didn't even stop for a drink!

Really ? Hmmm. I just remember hearing the same sentiment around 2010-2011 that go-go's were going out of style. But you are saying that they had an up trend again.

BS...Why don't you save the airfare and holiday costs and just buy a big bike? Cheaper, safer and you avoid being another foreigner stat who dies on a big bike going stupidly fast through town showing off and can't ride?

    Just saying.

As for the hookers pictured and hookers in general. I just don't get the appeal. They probably just swallowed some other guys kids 10 minutes before you picked one up.
