    The Continental - Jomtien

I have to say tha it sounds quite grand but in fact it isnt. The Continental is a small restaurant located almost on the corner of Theprasit and Jomtien Beach Rd in Jomtien. It markets itself as specializing in breakfasts but on the signage they have added that they do dinner as well.

I am sorry that I couldnt get a better piccy but it is a very busy road.

I have taken breakfast at The Continental about 7 times in the last 3 weeks and I have to say that it is pretty good. I havent been in there for a few days now coz I have decided to eat Thai food only for a bit.
The last time I was in there though I ordered Bangers and Mash. I got a side order of two fried eggs as well.

    Bangers and Mash.

The setting is quite good and although it aint busy in this pic it is usually quite full of folks dining.

The one thing that stands out with The Continental is the service. They ae very attentive and that is oh so noticeable in Thailand. They are very obliging and here is a nice pic of just one of the wait staff.

The prices are a bit average but the nosh is quite good and the menu certainly extensive. I hadnt noticed on my previous trips but the menu also includes a great many Russian dishes which actually looked pretty good. I will be going back for sure.

The pic didnt include a seperate gravy boat served hot along with a tray of other condiments. I have enjoyed several items from the menu, mostly breakfast dishes, but this one was by far the most enjoyable to date. Deelish it was.

But there came the eggs and you had become a bon vivant, Eggs with hashbrowns and sausages, from an order of Bangers and Mash. Damn good. I know you had been lurking on your previous visits.

    Get back to bizz bro!!!
