Fnding good black liquorice in Pattaya?

Of all the things I´ve missed in my visit to Pattaya is black liquorice. I´ve taken some with me but since I normally eat a lot of it I prefer if I can buy it in Pattaya instead of bringing tons of it in a suitcase with me. I want my liquorice salty and black but just black is fine as well.

Is there some scandinavia candy store in Pattaya that sells this kind of liquorice?

try an old style thai or chinese pharmacy and ask for CHA EM, which is thai for liquorice. but that will probably get you the brown stringy liquorice root which can be chewed or used to make liquorice tea.

black processed sugar laden liquorice chunks might be found in foodland supermarkets. imported from australia.

liquorice lowers potassium levels and eating too much can cause dangerously high blood pressure, but im sure you know that already.

Make it yourself. I did. Plenty of recipes on Youtube. I bought a bottle of pure 'Anise Essentual Oil' off of Lazada TH and a bottle of black food colouring. Some ingredients may have to be altered to accommodate. Let me know if you have problems.

Licorice is good for stomach ulcers but lowers testosterone levels and has estrogenic properties.

You may end up getting a taste for black cock after a few too many beers.

Buy some apple cider vinegar instead

Even better are antibiotics that kill the H Pylori bacteria that cause stomach ulcers. Also Omeprazol (PPI) which are cheaper than making liqourice. Report back after 7 days of taking Omeprazol.
