The Baan Kruja Pool League Charity Cup Final

For those fellow members who may be interested the final of the Baan Kruja Charity Cup will be played at the One Step Beyond Bar on the 4th of August, 2018 with the game commencing at 6.00 pm. The One Step Beyond Bar is located on Soi Siam Country Club Road just west of the Chicken Cross Road intersection and directly opposite the PTT petrol station.

The two teams competing for the Baan Kruja Pool League Charity Cup are The Honeybees and The Roxy Bar and based upon their performances through the qualifying rounds it should be a very competitive and exciting final.

Little Aye will be supplying free food for all who attend, there is no entrance fee and everyone is welcome to support this great event and for a very worthy cause.

Baan Kruja was set up to support sexually abused and trafficked children between the ages of 5 and 16 years old and is supported by a number of local businesses including Jaybees Bar, GB Bar, Moonies, The Roxy Bar , One Step Beyond Bar and Little Ayes Gourmet Food not to mention many other kind and caring individuals who donate what they can to this wonderful charity.

I hope to see a few Teakdorians there for a few beers and some great free food. Cheers!

The girls at Roxy Bar are EXTREMELY friendly, polite and VERY, VERY ACCOMMODATING! Most people visit Soi 6 with just one thing in mind and with anywhere between 10 and 15 energetic girls fighting for your attention, let’s face it, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Interesting and somewhat bizarre to see that a bar that advertises the availability of its in house prostitutes should choose to suport the sexually abused and the trafficked.

Perhaps it will be offering the children work experience once they become of age.

Oh well, at least there will be free pies, so who gives a fxck amyway.

    Stinkfinger anyone?

Must confess my first impression was that some people were offering their time, money, effort and talent to raise funds for kids in need. A bit early in the day for me, didn't realise there would be women present, took a while to get over that, and their pool table is probably a criminal enterprise that supports illicit gambling, while it's on the Darkside which everyone knows isn't called that for no reason! And I bet the free food bit is a scam to entice farangs in for unfree drinks!

^ & ^^ Cheers Chaps and it is not easy but fully worthwhile.

Great to see a number of us white men out delivering a reconstructed pool table or other toys out for the kids and setting up these schemes that help others.

I'm only a small player here and I would love to present the big players who are making a big difference everyday but they would not want that.

They know who they are and god speed to them!

Over 30.000 baht raised tonight and the Roxy Bar are the first annual champions of the Charity Cup.

I sincerely hope this is the start of something good and my wife and I are very proud to be part of a charity event that helps the disadvantaged children of Thailand.

Thanks to those that have committed donations and I will personally make sure the money goes to the right people.
