We checked out next morning early and the plan was to get to bangkok early and do a bit of shopping but it took hours for the boat to come and pick us up, when it did though it went to a few other beaches to pick up some punters first. So got to have a bit more of a look around


The ferry terminal for the big boats, if you land here then you still need to get a songthew to your beach




This looked to be a very quiet beach, stopped to pick up 3 chinese tourists


The speedboat couldnt pull up here so they had a rigged up a floating jetty that gets pulled out to where the boats waiting


Thats was our short beach break done, of to bangkok with another Lunatic Taxi driver

No mate, just bangkok, They do fly udon to phuket though. Not sure if the airport at pattaya functions ( Utapao?) i did hear that all the russians fly in there by charter though, loytoy would know

The plan was to reach bangkok early, do a bit of shoppin and have a bevvy with T57 but the speedboat not turning up and the Twat of a taxi driver getting lost in bangkok then stuck in traffic fucked that plan right up. bye the time we reached the hotel i was focked.


Stayed at the watergate in the Pratunam area, which turned out to be a handy location for the Bayoke tower


This area seems to be the Mecca of indian shoppers


400 Baht gets you to the 84th floor and includes a beer . half price for thais

Blimey, I haven't been to Samed for about 10 years. It's certainly changed.

It was my first time on that island to, I would've probably hated it 20 or so years ago. But for a place to take your wife and kids it's great, Would be a different story going there as a single bloke looking to get laid though.Just booked a ticket to Phuket in October, fucking hate the place , but it's boat racing festival in Vientiane at that time and I fucking hate that worse, gonna keep an open mind, 2 nights in koh phi phi as we'll never been there , might be pleasantly surprised, turns out I had a bunch of qantas frequent flyer points that I used to book the hotels, would rather do that than fly with the chutney ferret infested conts, good result really.
