Pattaya - Blue Parrot Mexican Restaurant

Pattaya probably has more Mexican restaurants than Bangkok, or at least that would pass off as doing a reasonable Mexican meal anyway, at a reasonable price I might add.

The Blue Parrot on Pattaya Land Soi 2 is I believe the longest established Mexican Restaurant in Pattaya and probably the best, the only bad point it has is unlike the Tequila Reef it isn't airconned, and Pattayaland is really busy with traffic and pedestrians so it is a bit noisy.

They do pitchers of Margarittas but probably best to stick to the beer if your driving.

The place is a bit tatty but its the food that matters, the condiments vary from damn hot to This is gonna burn out my ring piece hot, the chips came with 2 bowls of salsa, hot and really hot, I switched between the 2, the nachos were beef and cheese and were damn good.

Good place to start the evening if your going to hit the gogo bars later as there are loads of them on that Soi so you aint got to walk too far

In this video, which I took from my seat you can see a fake Chiang Mai or Rai Hill Tribes person trying to sell her junk to a customer, that is the main thing I hate about open air restaurants, you get all the poxy touts trying to sell you their poxy wares, one tried to sell me an extendable magnet thing, just like a small car aerial with a magnet on the end, just what I needed I am sure, he then started pestering me to buy some led torches, really don't need that when you are in a restaurant.

This is a video of Pattayaland Soi 2, probably Pattaya's equivelant to Soi Cowboy but much cheaper and much nicer.

i usually ask them about every single piece of junk they have with them, show me wot it does, do u have another colour, before telling them to piss off.

It seems that it might be safe to look at your videos again.It definitely adds more colour to your threads than your much maligned dunny shots.

I wasn't impressed with the Blue Parrot when I went there. I thought the food was crap.
