for a prof. of english literature, bombastic and magniloquent language is inevitable both for teaching and writing.i have a lot of passion for english literature.i teach english lit. in english only. not in translation. i teach classics like paradise lost and shakesperean plays including chauser in chaste english.
lahore is not good for holidaying

very good job.i was caught unawares.''geoffrey chaucer'' is correct.just negligence on my part.by saying 'icluding chaucer'',what i mean to say is that i teach the literary works of chaucer also, besides the plays of shakespeare.chaucer's work is canterbury tales. shakespeare wrote 37 plays besides many poems.u r a very attentive reader.a pat from the prof.

By the way, the comment was from All's Well that Ends Well (2.3.262) a play by, well, you know, Shakespeare - your supposed area of "prof" expertise.......would have thought a "prof"would have picked that up.....
I have a very well educated Pakistani friend who refers to a motor vehicle as a 'conveyance'.
As in 'I took my conveyance to the hotel' I suppose if he took a donkey he'd also say 'conveyance' though.
so long as they stay out of the bars and the girls get paid with what she agrees... but it is kinda weird and sick,,,
personally I'm not into picking up "streetdawgs"
