Recommend a hotel in Jomtien or Pattaya.

I have a Filipino colleague that will be spending a couple of weeks in Thailand.

Can anybody recommend a (not too expensive) hotel in Jomtien or Pattaya?

Other than the usual, his main requirements is a good internet connection as he'll need to be able to connect to the office if required and also preferably an in room safe so that he can lock up his PC, tablet, camera etc when out of the room.

    TIA.

Wecome Plaza Jomtiem is generally fine, nice views and not to be confused with the Welcome Plaza on Second Road.

    Was 900 Baht in 2004.

I know a place and have stayed in it on Pratamak Hill but I am searching for it now. It was about 1500 for a room, quiet, includes a nice breakfast, but the kicker is it has 2mb land line in every room. Great fast service. I will look more now and try to find it.

About 1400 through AGODA. Sea Orchid Hotel. http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/p...=1362388007736

This is for the ground floor, and you can walk from your terrace into the pool.

I've used the Sandy Spring Hotel, Pattaya Soi 13, between beach and second roads, next door to the Sportsman bar.

Big rooms, big double bed, around 1600 baht a night.

    Cheers

Thanks guys, I'll pass that all on.

Those prices all sound pretty much in the ball park.

but the kicker is it has 2mb land line in every room. Great fast service.
This looks like a deal maker to me!! Thanks AO, I'm out of greens for now!!

LK Rennaisence, just off 2nd Road Soi Diana, very good rooms, good internet (free) in room safe, swimming pool. 1700 per night for superior room, essential as they are on the rear and away from street noise. Location is superb, staff friendly, rooms are clean. I rate this one highly
