the testaurant Cheap Charlies in Pattaya city,is my nightmare when I spent my holiday in Pattaya. They serve us not fresh crab,with stink smell. When I ask them to change they refused and the india guy even want to bit us. Is restaurant is vey bad for Thailand! Pls all remember this restaurant in pattaya-- Cheap Charlies. the india guy.

I would not eat any crustaceans ( or even fish ) taken from that gulf . the sewer of thailand, the chao phraya , drains into it

I don't eat seafood here unless it is farmed or imported, or a deep sea fish.

You are risking a hospital visit at certain times of the year if you eat the prawns there the bacteria is so bad

I hadn't heard that but I can certainly vouch for its veracity. Just back from yet another trip to that area. Tried yet another seafood resteraunt and yet again it was terrible. The crab fried rice we ordered was the worst we've ever had anywhere ! Not cheap either. Could eat miles better seafood back in Bangyai at half the cost.

Nice hotel though.

A good restaurant in Pattaya.

oh my goodness me, I have just had a most splendiferous expeerience in a restaurant in Pattaya. Although it is humbly entitled 'Cheap Charlie's', reflecting the benevolent karma of it's benefactor, uncle cheap charlie, it is food worthy of shiva himself and if it were any cheaper, charlie himself would pay you to go to his most divine establishment. The highest chefs at the Taj in Bombay are not worthy of eating charlies curried excrement, but that is why he was most unfairly dismissed. Why indeed most enlightened reader, come to enjoy a bounteous feast at cheap charlies, most cheap and bounteous restaurant in all of Pattaya township.
