Pattaya Hill Resort Condo - is it a reasonable place to live?

By 'reasonable' I mean a place that's not too 'party time' or noisy, or filled with psychos, though I can accept that it's Pattaya/Pratumnak and there's going to be some of that. From the pics Pattaya Hill looks fine but what's the scoop on actually living there?

Other recommendations welcome. Including moo baans a bit farther out like the Hwy 36 area or Mabprachan.

Need a bit of space, either way - 1/2br 75+sqm for condos and 2/3br for a house. Don't really care about seaview or stuff like that, just want someplace quiet. Been looking online at fully furnished places in the 18k-25k range but don't know the 'hood.

Don't need an agent or a particular unit just some general advice on where to look and perhaps where to avoid.

^Pratumak is a decent enough area and you will have Kinarree on you're doorstep which ain't a bad thing.

    Mabprachan is also very nice.

    You got wheels?

Not yet. Would probably look for a car if I go the moo baan route. Otherwise just a moped around Pratumnak. That's the current plan, anyway.

You'll find little use for a car within Pattaya, gridlock most everywhere and no parking once you get where you are going. A motorcycle ridden carefully is much better transportation within Pattaya. I lived on Pratumnak Hill for 2 years and it was very nice.

Which building on Pratumnak Hill would you recommend, Bob?
