Is CMN still in the area. Last I heard, he had bought a nice touring bicycle to trim his frame, but he was looking at a big motorbike to widen his exploration options?

^speaking of members, is TonyBKK still in TH? I liked his motorbike photo threads.

@david44 - thanks for the pics (and the convoluted word salad, lol). I liked Chiang Mai. I visited Wat Doi Suthep & Huay Keaw (?) waterfalls, Bua Thong (?) falls & San Kamphaeng (?) hot springs during that time. Wanted to go to Doi Inthanon but it was a bit far & the weather wasn't good, so we changed plans. If I were to choose a place in TH to stay long term (maybe as digital nomad, heh), I'd pick CM as I'm not much of a big city person.

It's a while since i heard from the sage of CM, I think the detox, sex change and crew cut, smart casual lurex cat suit and Thai pro is gone, amd that's just me, why not send him a PM, or when you visit we could do a dawn swoop? Stun grenades, troupe of mokees and some dancing gals.If you like shaved bushes or a bit of trim I'm a dab hand at the topiary aslmost as good as my taxidermy or clarinette wrangling.

Now hear tell he's a fine figurine of a man and would look great as a bookend facing other Sage of CM whose literary and grammar skills , shine like my old unifrstea Blotto blazer Gives and Hawkes Jermyn Streetsorry other side reads Dominoes Illunimnate Meaw which believ is Lating fer Bright Cat Pizza or Sod em Wad em as Jesus wept ad Magdalene went DOWN the pink river of Isis in Mesopotamia.

As for bikes IMHO best thing isn't to marry one, try a rental , adjust te saddle and your horn and she'll be right

I'm glad the charges over the midnight mituration dropped and your incontince pants arrived untouched by the customs. The trick is to write in local lingo

Too much information to disentangle. The current scrum for what passes as a Thai Pass is too great a burden for someone who has been locked down and prevented from any form of travel not requiring legs. Cycling and swimming may be low impact but it’s better than nothing.
Im nearly fit enough to try the gym again, provided I can convince my legs that they are not 30 years old anymore!
Did I deduce correctly? CMN still exists in your neck of the woods?

I had a quick check in yesterday about house prices in Australia, my house went up in value $87.000 since Feb 2021, all the 3 bedroom houses around mine are selling for $650.000-$700.000, Mine is 4 bedroom and has a pool, close to trains and a Freeway to Sydney and the houses are selling within 24 hours now.

Buy a second home and retire in Northern Thailand.
