I've since heard that the old boy lost 400,000 a few months back. All his breeding stock, baby fish, call them what you will got washed away. He's now closed down.

Great thread jj and well done for trying the guts. I wouldn't be able to to do it as I still can't eat a fish with its head and tail on. I just cant take the way they look at me and poking the eyes out doesn't help either, ive tried that. Same with shrimp. The wife has to peel them and then pass them across to me.
