Relaxing and staying busy up here in the North.

No good day starts without a "Well Poured" old Fashion with Angostura bitters at the pool bar watching some baseball playing fetch with my dogs.

Did some re-plumbing and electrical adds. My wife asked to have the older washer we were not using (it broke but I repaired it later) set up to wash kitchen, dog bedding and other towels separately and use the new one for our clothes and house bedding.

As I walked over to the mulch pit area I came across a beautiful Golden Tree snake enjoying a early morning tree frog snack.

Wife picked up a bag of fresh cashews and toasted them up in the air fryer. No salt needed. Taste perfect as is.

Grilled up some salmon for lunch for FIL, Wife and I with some veggies.

Yesterday I received my larger SST exhaust tips to allow better flow and cooler temps. Can't go wrong with a company named Whiskey Bent.

With pretty much anything aftermarket, modifications are needed to fit. No issue having all the tools including a chainsaw, just in case

All installed and ready to head out this week to meet up with some guys to ride.

Outside of that I have found it interesting that it is torrentially raining and flooding all around us yet here has been dry for a week, not even a sprinkle. The valley high pressure must be pushing the rain around the valley. Weather has been very nice, bit of overcast with some sun.

Yeah gotta say the weather has been quite almost winter like in some regards. Beautiful sun in AM. Clouds start forming around noonish and then looks like big rain and it blows on by. However the Wang river is always rising as the water from Chiang Rai and other places is heading out of the mountains

Yeah, just finished a lovely 90 minute exercise sesh with an hour of it being the exercise bike on the veranda. Fan, lush green leaves and gently bubbling fish tanks, with lovely blue skies. Hard to beat.

Nice breakfast with Teeny down at an old haunt, before a bit of plant shopping in the local garden center.

    Will post up photos soon.

I should clarify that the company was nice not the food.

a lovely wee day in the north thus far.

A good early morning teeny'ing followed by a good ol' wordl'ing.

When you've got it you've got it.

I first started stopping in Bier Stubbe in 2001 on a break from Aus when I came up with a Thai GF that was studying in uni there. 3 weeks of bliss in CM but her dad didn't like me. No idea why.

Next stop was in 2005 after being banished by both Australia and home. A local GF would cheeseburgers for breakfast there as she had fallen in love with them and had no idea they weren't breakfast food. It was down by John's Place near Tha Pae. Freshly circumcised chilled coconut out of the fridge with banana pancakes on the wooden area outside. They ended up closing during Covid but then reopened on their own plot at the junction of Mahidol and the 106. Same waitress and owner since 2001 and know me well. Well since before Teeny was born. Now that's customer loyalty.

It's the memories I stop there for.

Back and chill and then onto the exercise bike with dumbbells for a wee 90 minute sesh.

The six pack doesn't chisel itself.

Lovely day in the north. Now time to head out for a nice park stroll in Buak Haad Park.

    Cheers me Northern Brothers.

4'11. Don't give me more credit. In fact, I should have mentioned that the camouflage pants I order are actually really shorts and I just cut off the lower pockets to make them look longer. Btw...I have some beautiful swampland for sale if you are interested. Top view.

Yeah. It was a big one for sure. I haven't seen many big tree frogs around recently as it hasn't been raining, usually big toads but this one was a tree frog snack it found.

Lovely colouration on these tree snakes, Stumps.

May I suggest that you put the comment above the picture in your picture threads, instead of below?

In my humblest of opinions, it behoves the flow-worthiness of a picture thread if the reader can read the comment first, which tunes one's mind to the subject to be presented, and then have the idea illustrated and expanded by the thousand-word picture.

With the comments below it can often be a kind of zig-zaggy scrolling exercise to be presented with the mysterious picture, then scroll down and read the comment and then scroll back up to look at the picture again in light of the enlightening comment.
