Actually I am not. But you learn in life, you get what you pay for with consumer products. So you can buy a $5 dollar gizmo and it last 2 times and you buy another $ 5 dollar gizmo.... The ViAir 12V compressor I have I use on my Hilux when I go off-roading. Filling 33" tires just wont work on a cheap gizmo. Now maybe if you never go outside the city where you can call for a recovery service those gizmos might work. I go far off away from any assistance.

No need there Looper. If I come back and am sore from a ride, I have a wonderful wife who takes cares of me.

Just for a point, this mini air compressor works really well. Can fill a few tires easily. No need to fill 4

I'm not sure if it only happens in the north, but one pet peeve is the phone going off at some ungodly hour due to a Flash or Kerry delivery fudgehead wanting to tell you he's nearly there.

Was good to get up early anyway as 2 of me girls were up and waiting for their breakfast.

Ah shure who doesn't love a wittle tickle.

Some carrots, pellets, and a bit of a kickabout later and it's suddenly verandah o'clock. Wordle waits for no man.

Khao Soi lunch date organized along the mighty Ping, a perk of the north, so to speak. But may cancel and just chill at home. :-)

Yesterday we had one of those storm deals that came over and just flat stopped. Got 3.2" of rain from about 1pm to 2:30pm

Back forty orchard was flooded in no time.

With the storm blowing through my dogs don't like the cracking thunder so they came by me while I was working on the ATV.

While it poured rain I installed my TFX off road race shocks and set ride height. Will go off and test today.

Mid day after the rain stopped my wife's uncle stopped by as he caught 2 huge Snakehead fish at the lake I ride by up in the mountains.

I need to take a pole and go fish. Some big fish in the lake based on the fish he brought us.

It was a different kind of rain storm. No wind. Just rolled over and stopped and dumped water with a lot of big thunder.

It was fantastic. Most evenings/nights are now.

Just need an Armo style box of microwavable McCain's Creole Chicken and evenings on the verandah are like being on an 1850's New Orleans plantation at the moment.

Do you twang the ol' 6 stringer Stumps?

Could load one up when heading to the hills, t'would be very Slash or Van Halen-esque.

^^It didn't seem different to me.

It seemed like a typical 'summer' (hot season) storm.

^I reckon he's more the Don McLean type.

Usually the storms that blow through here prior to the rain come with incredibly high winds, blowing roofs off and other shit everywhere. Then the rain follows in. This one was no wind and a ton of rain

I will next time for sure. It really is a tasty fish to eat, in fact its about the only fish I eat here ( Sans Tuna Sashimi). She cut it into steaks like we do salmon sometimes. Then pan fried them. The head she boiled and made some soup for my FIL.

the best way to eat snakehead fish in my opinion is to gut them, fill with lemongrass or other herbs of your choice, roll them in a thick layer of salt and grill over flaming coals.

the thai will eat it with boring old rice, but believe me, its far better with decent thick cut chips, english style or a proper skin on baked potato.

they are supposedly very easy to catch, they cant resist a lure.

Lovely lovely day here in the north of Thailand. But daily life here generally is.

Cool, but sunshine breaking through today, the gardens certainly got watered last night.

Teeny GF up early for a school camp.

Yummy fresh breakie left on the countertop for me. Bless 'er lil cotton socks.

Yogurt with fresh sliced northern mango, nanaba and blueberries, washed down with a pint of homemade lavender, jasmine, rose bud, cinnamon, ginger and lemongrass iced tea.

Love your body and your body will love you.

Served along side some serious wordling and crosswording.

Will the lil fluffer-balls go for it?

    There's some deliberation going on.

    Speaking of which.

Northern style massage booked for 11am.

Then northern Khao Soi lunch with a gym buddy before off to Muay Thai training at 2pm. Them hilltribe boys that were thrown into fulltime Muay Thai schools at age 4 because their family couldn't feed them sure know their stuff. Not ones to playfully pull the lulu out of.

    I agree. :-)
