Honestly, I have never tried Sol so I can't offer a comment. When my buddies and I used to travel to Mexico on the weekends, we typically drank Modelo or Dos Equis. Goes great with Mexican food and Tequila shots. :)

Today Was a good day to start. A wonderful NE breeze started last night into this morning and the air quality was great this AM. It blew all the smoke back to CM Sorry Cyrille and MK) and off towards Isaan I suspect. However with the haze virtually gone, its hotter than hell. :). The haze seemed to scrub off a few C as today is almost 40c.

Day started early as Ung wanted to get the support poles cemented in place. I let him and Bao do their thing. I was off mowing lawns and washed my filthy truck.

Just around lunch one of my interested family members showed up to see how the pool cover progress was going. This is Mia. She has a twin sister who was napping. Her GMA was walking her around to check it out while her mom relaxed. After the progress tour I held Mia while she dipped her feet in the jacuzzi to cool off. There seems to be this one poster on TD full of envy and more full of shit who believes that many of us sit around drinking alone, no friends. etc. Hard to teach the idiot that he is always wrong. But he is a lonely 40 year old bloke who needs attention :)

Work around place pretty much done for today. To damn hot. Had me a nice refresher to knock the heat off.
40°C is way too hot to be doing any welding or manual labour. Enjoy that beer.
^ he welds on rebar around it so it stick out about 10 inches or so from each side so the cement bites it and holds the pole. They aren't going anywhere but I would hate to dig them out. :)
Well, Ung and Bao took a short break and decided they wanted to get it framed today because the roof and ceiling metal will not arrive until Tuesday so they wanted to take Sunday and Monday off.

Ung welding away. I had to vacuum out the slag and weld spatter as it splashed in the pool. One might ask, why not use a tarp? Well the weld spatter and slag would burn right through it so it would have been pointless. So easier to vacuum the pool area every few hours.

Where we ended today. Coming along well.
Seems like a good idea.
Possible to anchor up the airmadress and have a grandfather nap on the shady waves.
:1st:
Thats the spirit and get a good old fashioned yanky doodle dandy of an air mattress. Got your cold beer holder and all. :)

The spiel from the manufacturer
Ice chest full of beer on one side, beer in the holder on the other, and you in the middle of this Beer Mug Pool Float. This beer-themed inflatable pool float is made of heavy-duty and designed for one adult lounger.
You're looking well, AO.
^ Ignore him JPPR, i think he's been drinking too much Fanta, even managed to upset AO on another thread!
No problem Mike. I was laughing because thats what I told my wife. I said. "Hey I think we need one of those Disco balls and some big ass speakers so we can light this place up. She laughed. I was waiting for her to say why not get a water proof karaoke mic. :)
In all seriousness, is it not going to be a little dark at the bar?
