    Yes laughable

Not much empathy for your neighbors , who apparently are the owners of the.... "whizzing roof tiles".

    But do enjoy your entertainment.

Others in the tropics could have economical problems rebuilding the little they might have had.

A bit harsh that, helgy babes.

I'm sure that's not what JP intended.

    Harsh indeed.

    Merely commented on his post.

I can't see the entertainment value in destruction.

Especially not where un-insured poor peope is involved.

    But each to his own

(I don't think he meant it like that either)

No I didn't, in fact last year when a neighbor lost a section of their roof from one if these rogue storms, I politely took the few that landed in my yard and offered to help put them back. However it doesn't mean that when they are flying around that it isn't entertaining. Not a lot you can do until it passes and then go clean up.

Helge seems to be increasingly pissy these days. It shows in his posts.

    It did.

    I reckon you deserved it.

    Nevermind

As always, every day at the ponderosa is a busy one. I quite like it as I am up early and always enjoying the quiet mornings.

After morning OJ and dog run, I planted 2 more foxtail palms to replace the 2 that died early on.

I picked up a new Lotus plant to replace an old one I had in the pot.

Wife's friend tracked down 2 trees we wanted and showed up this morning to plant them. After I mowed the back forty area before it became a mess to cut.

Took a break to toss the ball for the dogs. Sandy follows me everywhere with that damn ball staring.

Tore the ATV down a bit to re route some of the wiring as I didn't like that it was exposed to potential rocks in the wheel well.

GodDayum this was a well earned IPA.

    ^ looking verdant.

We have 3 of those water lily pots, i rigged them up as a waterfall graduated in size by our sala, nice to hear the trickling sound whilst lazing in the hammock. We have those little fish in them to ensure any mozzie larvae get eaten.

Ya know that's a really nice idea with them staggered spilling into another one. Do you have a pump to replenish the upper one?

I have all mine set up with solar powered fountains and every water feature around our place has those skeeter eating guppies except for the pool of course.

^ I love a pond, had one in my old place in the UK but it takes some looking after and decided against a full blown one in Thailand.

Ref the pots, yes it's rigged witha solar pump to recirculate.

I have found tho that I needed to add some wire mesh over them which detracts from the aesthetics but does mean I can maintain the guppy population from marauding cats and dickies.

    Whatever, Willy.

Surely you can find something to be upset with in my posts, instead of your references to my family, in repo and now on the board.

Beauty day. I took the ATV up into the mountains and found a few really nice trails to ride.

    Heading off into the jungle.

On way back home from ATV ride, stopped off at our local park. The set up for Loy Krathong begins. Tractor cleared out the river front and a few started with the road covers for the lights. Next week will be busy. I will help set up a few things as I enjoy hanging with the neighbors.

Been busy on all fronts, Work for company, House repairs,, ATV rides and some out and abouts with my wife.

A new Moo Kah Tah in our town. Pretty good. wife and I enjoyed a dinner.

After 7 years the plumbing under the sink which was not installed all that well finally gave up the ghost so new plumbing in order and time to add a water purification set up.

    All mocked up and installed.

Meyer lemon tree is loaded with Lemons right now. I brought this over from the US as a graft from my Dads tree.

With the weather cooler 2 of our dogs enjoy some poolside time.

Never seen this species of butterfly before. Very cool colors

Took off on a new trail into the mountains to day on the ATV. Beautiful weather.

    Ahhhhhhhh. Beer well deserved.

Just wonderful. A crisp foggy morning with a temp of 15c. Should be seeing Thai folk in down jackets, ear muffs and gloves soon when in town.

This year I skipped the grill and went with a big pot of home made pasta sauce for Thanksgiving. Started it Wednesday morning to cook and let sit. Wife and I enjoyed a nice Italian spaghetti dinner.

Decided to add 2 water feature pots by my trellis with solar fountains.

Took an ATV ride after lunch. I decided it best to download a good app to track my routes as I have found once up in the mountains these roads and trails are quite easy to get turned around on.

Beauty morning today. Serviced the pool fountains pump.

Beauty morning here. 16c, slight fog.

Last few days I have been helping setting up the river area for Loy Krathong Monday.

Friday morning after chair and event set up and later Friday night was the float parade over the Wang river.

    Nice evening watching the event.

Grilled me up some Shisky bobs for lunch. Gotta love a good grill smoke coming out from under the cover.

Caught another unique cloud sun image yesterday

Wife and I went down to the river last night to see how it is all coming together. Looks pretty good. Food vendors selling some good food. We stopped and had some Roti.

    Another round of festivities tonight.

That’s looking good and a bearable crowd. I went out a couple of times in Bangkok during loy krating and it’s mental.
