Hi ROBBIE,sorry for the delay in answering but have just returned from the U.K.

There are 3 army courses near Roi-Et the course 20k from Roi-Et towards M.Sarakham is quite good [many water carries].The Roi-Et course is improving
a lot and the Yastahon cours not so good. All 3 are 2x 9 holes.

In the Khon Kaen area there are several very good 18 hole courses.Sariburi
'SINGHA' COURSE,The Dancoon golf course [near airport] and just north of K.K.
THE 'UBOLRATANA DAM' COURSE very varied.

We play monday/thurs in the Roi-Et area with the occasional trip to K.K.

    YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME.

    hi

I am also moving to the area in about 2 months and would love to find some playing partners.

Also, can anyone tell me if the new course at Yaang Talatt is open yet?

    Cheers

I believe they are. You can't send PM until you have 10 posts. They all hang out at Tim's Resturant in Roiet. He is situated west of the lake in city center.
When you have enough posts send a PM to Isanyokel. I will give him a heads up.

    Norton,

Thanks for the reply. I lived in Maha Sarakam for 6 years but I am unfamiliar with Roi Et. But I am guessing theren't too many resturants named Tim's. Once get the 10 posts I will PM.

    I'm interested in Golf

    Hi there,

I live in Roi Et and would like to play golf. I'm not especially good, though - any English speaking pros around?

I have my own set of clubs, and have played quite a few times, but I've never had any training so I suppose you guys will be a lot better than I am.

I would've sent a PM if I could, but I registered just now in order to reply. I hope you'll see this post.

    Kindest,

    Sindre

Is it allowed to leave my phone number here? Or is it so that I now have to find 18 more threads and spam the forums with low quality messages? I find the 20 post rule very peculiar.

    Hi, Charleyboy,

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Been meaning to visit Cha-am some time, but I have no idea when that'll be. Been to Hua Hin, but frankly I think it's unimpressive and the high building structure makes it seem a lot less exotic than it could've been.

Thank you for replying, at least now I know this thread isn't completely dead. If anyone sends me a PM, do I have to have 20 posts in order to reply as well? Seems so counter-productive that I've gotta browse the forum for topics I may or may not be able to reply to just so I get 20 posts and can PM people. Absolutely ridiculous.

Go into the games room and post some change a word clues etc there. The limit is to reduce the number of Indian and Nigerian spammers. Either that or post a number of email address. It's not too difficult.

Sadly Isanyokel passed away several months ago.
I don't golf but still a few golfers who hang out in the Italian Restaurant (formally Tim's).
It's located on the west side of the city center lake. Just down the road from the Roiet Aquarium.
