I don't think so, that's the original Steve of Steve's Bar. He's now in charge of the Irish Clock. Steve Ridgley was the guy who died and he bought Steve's Bar off the original Steve.

yes sad news at steves death dont bother going to udon map as they have killed the story as they do with most stories that dont fit there plan
Steve was a miserable sod from day if the truth be known but in contrast is wife his a very decent lady and i feel for a loss but with him gone hopefully she can improve the buissness as he spent most of the profit on getting of his face
unfornutley being a alocolic and runing a bar never go down well in the long run
    regards john

If your an advertiser you are allowed to post to fill up kilometers of form space with "We now have rhubarb flavoured custard pies in stock" But anything ever so slightly contentious is wiped by the guys with the MODERATOR nick in their avatar.
Eventually it gets so boring & predictable, not even worth logging on.

A mate of mine years ago topped himself using a pipe from the exaust he had parked the car in the garage locked it, he must have filled up the tank and could have been there for 2 days, they reckon it was that bad that nobody could touch the body for days, I suppose if you want to do yourself in that way is less painful you die within minutes.

What ,,did he have aids ,,, why'd he top imself. Can't imagine how that is cowardly ,, to end your life. Fook.
Ahh stomach cancer . Well what the fook ,,,it was his life. Feelin sorry for yourself because someone tops themself is a crock of shit ,,,poor little me, de dum. When a man once asked " why do i so desperatly want to be loved" the answer he got was " because you are so desperatly empty" Maybe some of you here suffer from this emptiness. Or you kid yourselves. Fact is a guy killed himself. you should grieve if you knew him surely. SO, how many of you are going to the wake ?

I am very sorry to hear this. I remember Steve and his bar well. His bar seemed to be always full of abosluute loosers (isn't every bar in Thailand?). They all seemed to have married bar girls, gone to live in Udon and been ripped off. One guy was on his third wife. Steve was not at all like that though. As I recall, he had a nice wife: a Thai businesswoman that he met and married in England. Later they move to Udon to start the busniss together. He seemed a very balanced and contented guy, unlike many of his customers. I hope we get more information about this tragedy soon. It is, indeed, very sad to hear this.
