Ahhhh! Well in other news, a pissed off, disgruntled young male local king hit one of the young teachers a few feet in front of me at SMO on Friday night, was quite a dull night till then

Frequented SMO on one occasion, and we were having a great night until a certain Farang attempted to practice Thai boxing on the locals....of course quick exit was in order.
The SMO proprietor owns the large vacant plot of land to the rear of my house....rumoured she plans to build a club house there.....handy, just jump over the wall when feeling thirsty....don't know about jumping over the wall on the way back....

New to Sawang Daen Din
Have recently arrived with Thai wife (1st Dec/2012) in Sawang Daen Din from Australia taking up residence in our newly constructed home. Would enjoy meeting other Expat's in area. I am now retired and we are opening up a restaurant in a month or two. Having a ball. Love the area, filled with our family members.

Bar just ok, before have problems because they not bring beer when we try order, but now have beer and all welcome. Next year start Fitness place and all peoples then welcome for training, it good first training and after take couple beers. Sawang no have any Fitness place, but soon have i will open it next year. I like gym training and Sawang no have so i need make it then. Roof level is coming also small place where can training boxing or Thai boxing. Training is good for peoples any age so all peoples are welcome next year start training....Name for place will be SAWANG FITNESS.

Recently arrived in Sawang. Will be here for the forseeable future. Met BillyBoyBig and his wife at their restaurant Noodles Delight and had lunch there. Really enjoyed the food and their company.

Last week I made time to track down Marco's Bar, and take some pictures to update teak door member's stuck overseas, on whats doing about SDD..
It took three Nights on my trusty Yamaha, cruising around and asking in the general location.......but at last I found it...with the roller door open!!(first two nights, closed, no signs in English)
Locals even 200 meters away did not know it by name.....and as there is no sign in English ...and it looks like, and doubles as, a ladies Hairdressing salon during the day when it happens to be open.
Here it is!

As to how to find it.......It is physically about 80 meters from Highway 22 on the Northern Side....Tucked away in the South Western Corner of a small local food market, one street West of the Main T Intersection traffic lights in the center of town. It is one of two adjacent shop frontages, with roller doors, the adjacent one a young locals hangout, which seems always open as a good source of free wifi, and filled with young Thais
Marcos bar seems to be intermittent in being open, but I did get a cold beer and good service from one of the girls!
MARCOS bar, does have very good cheap very cold beer, with ice cold glasses, and good service when it is open and there were some lovely young ladies seated inside ....but absolutely and totally absorbed with text-ing and net surfing on their phones, oblivious to the rest of the world!
I imagine things are different when Marco is about...The planned fitness facility will be interesting to watch develop!....Good Work Marco and hope to meet you when you are back.
