Hi Markos, good to see you and your lady and the other ladies, been a while but we remember them.

Was a flash flood in Sawang last night, main street a few feet under water in places, was at Bung Bar, electricity went, so decided to find Markos.

Found a roller dorr pulled down against the torrential rain, but we could see flashing lights under neath,

    "rolled" into the "Mini Bar"

Lovely spot, same as the previous German bars, far cheaper beer but not a selling point for me,

More interesting was a friendly host and the thai ladies who all seemed to have a great laugh.

See you again soon, worth the effort to find the place,

    BREAKFAST

For those living near Charoen Sin, there is a new restaurant there call

    Chock Dee

Great little spot, has pretty good breakfasts, not the full sausages, but bacan eggs toast etc. Very cheap, good value, and today a great find at 9am while on the way to a school event.

Nothing to do with me, just a good find. Hope they stick it out as I have always thought Charoen Sin was big enough for a good little restaurant with Falang food.

Sounds like some wild Irishman has been drinking and fighting in Marcos the Finns SDD "Minibar" and broke the table!.....and I missed all the action!

And I have not even managed to work out exactly where this bar is yet!

Sounds more like a Thai problem drinker if he expected to replace the broken table for 300 baht!

It's where all the German bars have been, not counting Finland as German, let's say all the "Northern European" bars, three I know off, in the same building, over the years.

Thai girls with a bar mentality have an ability to hook a (farang )man. An unrivalled ability in my opinion. Theres a million stories out there.

Is it Thai or Ex-pat run.....anyway consistency is important...the pattern of opening and closing at strict scheduled times is important, customer or no customer.

Thai, nice lady who bought it from the founders more than a year ago, you posted I thought somewhere you new her?

Anyway, the "new" place I was talking about but never visited is as leaving town heading to Sakon Nakorn, just as the road starts to divide into 6 lanes, before the PTT, on the right hand side,

Quite nice, very clean, cleanest place in town, similar to the great but short lived restaurant down near the Fire Station.
