    Airlines/BKK to Udon

    Hi All,

Seems to be a shortage of airlines available to Udon these days? I know of Airasia from BKK what are the other alternatives as Thai does fly from BKK only from the old airport.

    Thanks All

Hi Spin, sorry I should have been more precise. I wish to fly from BKK meaning Savarnabhumi. Nokair and Thai Airways only fly from Don Muang to Udon.

    Thanks

Agreed, I think we all do! Lets hope they sort it out in the near future because the current arrangement is unsatisfactory for the majority of travellers.

Don Muang is better as it's a piece of piss to get round, but I think you're stuck with AirAsia from Suwanapoom..

I always travel Nok from DM to Udon and back. so easy, I turned up 15 minutes before the flight last time and simply walked to the plane.

Well DM airport is ok, but not when your getting off an international flight. So flights from Savarnabhumi are obviuosly more welcomed! Airasia are shite as well which pishes me off as the lugguage restrictions and sad staff just grate on me.

Confuddled to why flight windows are all given to one company at a magor airport...

Couldn't agree more. I have just over 3 hrs to get to DM from me international flight for the Khon Kaen flight at 1130. If my flight it slightly late thats me fukced and then have to wait for the for the next at 8pm.

Because Thai (incl Nok) were pressured into going there to ease the burden caused by inefficiency and Suwanapoom.
