    Relocation! - Help?

    Having spent the last 11 years in Pattaya, and some years before that in Bangkok, it's now time for another move!
    I thought I was in the right place, but Pattaya has seen so many changes - for the worse - in the past five years, it's time for another move. It appears, though not finalised, that I have sold my house that was built to see my days out in!
    Kohn Kean, I think, has everything I want, but now need to start looking for land, or house, any help with websites etc will be much appreciated.
    Can either buy a piece of land - where? and build, or buy an existing place, if there are any good properties in my price range, that will full fill my needs.
    The main thing will be a good location, I don't want to end up with pig farmers as neighbours or have a main road nearby.
    Budget around the 8 million mark.
    Again, any help much appreciated, as this is the beginning of the "project"

    We're having a house built in Ubon province by a Khon Khaen building company.
    So far they have been very good, but it will be about 8 weeks before the house is finished- can't give you a 100% recommendation until this happens. Very reasonably priced too- couldn't find an Ubon company competitive with them.

    They sound promising, hell they sound wonderful, the house I live in now was 15 months late as I wouldn't accept the crap the builders were doing!

    Piman Chol 2 is a modern development due South of Bang Kaen Nakorn, a large lake on the outskirts of the city. Properties are well within your price range - About 3 m upwards.

    You can check this website as it has a few examples of the properties on the market. (there are more available- unless they've been snapped up recently!)

    Best bet is to go have a look - Place is full of scousers tho!!

    ^ Probably throw in a free set of locking wheel nuts!

    Appreciate the link, though not exactly what I am looking for, developments like this seem to cram huge houses onto small plots of land, and you end up with next to no garden, and close neighbours, now if they would sell me four plots of land cheaply and build a house to my specks, it would be ideal

    They have plots of all sizes (mine is 150 TW) One nearby is 230TW approx (about 6m baht I think). Some have bought more than one plot to extend their gardens and others have had houses/bungalows built to their own spec so you may find something that suits.
