    Meanwhile back at the farm

Spend most of the day cutting the rice today
Well, actually watching the machine cut the rice while drinking beer. LOL
with the occasional smoothing down the dividers between fields for the machine to cross over from one field to the other.
About 5 rai that belonged to my wife's dad and after he passed away we could not be bothered.
It has a strange chanot that can only be used for farming and can not be build on.
Anyway we are subletting it to the wife's aunt an uncle for a portion of the rice.
This year we planted jasmine rice
All and all a very fun day

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

But you wear those poofy little black ankle socks.

I wore them all my life. (not the same ones) When you have leggs like mine, it's a crime not to show them off.
Please dont hate me 'cause I am beautiful.

Nice job BB. As I rode today I saw lots of rice harvesting machines being worked on. It's going to be busy.

Great pics and no worries on the socks.

It's always good to see a good harvest.

Is the rice sold, used by your family ....

If sold are their local buyers or do you transport it to larger buyers?

Mostly used by the family, and for the most part a hobby.
My wife's uncle who is now using the farm, is a retired furniture warehouse manager from Bangkok. This was his first year of having planted and harvested the rice himself. You could see the pride in his face watching the harvest come in. It was heartwarming.
