Hmmm. So, Mendy tells of his back problem, and many jump on the wagon of criticising his lifestyle as if he's terminally obese. He's a big guy who is carrying a few extra kgs, but nothing extraordinary, which he admits he could do more to shed. I always have the impression that meal times at Casa Mendy is always about social time and bonding with his daughter. I'm sure that there is probably only one main meal a day, with smaller meals otherwise. Likewise, a few drinks, but nothing to excess, at the end of the day isn't a major issue. He also seems to be physically active when at home, he's speaks of his daily 60 lap swims (albeit in a small pool), and he's forever got some form of outdoor home project to work on. His vacations, which he shares with us, are littered with treks and hill walks. Couch potato he ain't.
I'm sure that he has a tentative plan for the future, post daughter going to college, which he will take large steps to bring to fruition.
