^^ The pool is 12m x 6m and OK for doing lengths, or laps as you Aussies seem to call them. I wish we'd made it deeper but that can be added to the long list of things we got wrong with the house build in general.

And yes, the factotum keeps it up together when I'm away, or at least that's what I'm told. I let him clean it when I'm back home as well so as not to spoil his routine. I'm nice like that.

The water is currently between 35 and 36 degrees, so the refreshment it offers is minimal but I guess slightly better than the 38 degree air temperature we've been having since I arrived home. I've taken to sprawling on the top step with Lola and Maya for a few hours every day. I may even remember to bring a book downstairs tomorrow to make better use of my time.

But anyway, this is Anna's thread so let's bet it back on topic. Yogi nicked her chair tonight and she's well pissed off. I think he was hoping for a bit of a spoon but she's wise to his tricks.

If you're referring to the cut on Yogi's head, this was the bigger picture tonight.

Yogi and Max had a fight last night and Max also has a cut on his head. Max is pack leader and I think this is why Yogi stole Anna's chair tonight, to get up, out of the way of Max and also to get a bit of tlc from Anna.

Or maybe I'm thinking too much?

    Aww
How has Yogi been getting all the action if he's not the alphamale?
It's not as though he could do it stealthily when he's stuck hanging out of the back of Max's bitches for 20 mimutes with that look of guilt
    Is Max a eunuch?

^ And you said you weren't Sherlock Holmes!

Yes, Max isn't 'complete', as it were.

I regret that now and no longer get the males neutered. He doesn't really fit in with the boys or the girls, poor thing.

You'd have been proud of me the other week, Mendy, the usual woman who grooms my gundog was overbooked so I gave myself a number 1on top and around the sack, then gave the hound a number 0. There were a few bald patches and it pulled him a bit at first before I learned to go with the flow of the hair.
Saved around 3000 baht and I'll be doing it again

A bit of eye candy for your page

^ Proud indeed, and thank fukk it wasn't a picture of your freshly mown sack while doing the hoovering.

That grass looks nice, it's all brown here.

And a coincidence or what... I went for an after work trip, 80 Baht special today but was greeted with this...

I took the picture to send to the wife for translating - ain't life in these foreign countries great - and as I suspected he was shut.

I nearly gave myself the Number 2 all over at home and save the 80 Baht, but thought bollocks to it. I'll go back tomorrow and throw some cash around.

I was thinking of getting Cruise castrated. He's a pain in the arse when he's off the lead and if he smells a bitch he's off like a shot and won't listen or come back however much you shout, scream and call him

I had read about it not being good for submissive dogs and he's good as gold otherwise.
He loves running by the side of the bike on his lead and if you go too slow he will pull you up the hill
I had some foul mouthed Karen last year drive past in her car whilst he's sprinting next to me on my bike down a hill as I was gauging how fast he could go.
"I think that's fukking cruel" she yelled
My daughter was close behind on her bike too. Those nutjobs are everywhere

Does he go like a missile?

Or maybe a bit of a Tom?

Yeah, they do say some owners look like their dogs. If Tom Cruise had a dog I guess it'd look a lot like erm Cruise.

If I owned Yogi... ooh gotta get the babby from school

^^ Yeah, I will rectify that.

I wouldn't get Cruise castrated after my experiences. We've had two males castrated and it kind of spoiled their character in both cases. They both became a bit needy and put on weight... and didn't really fit in with the girls who stopped showing the respect due to an alpha male.

Fukk... I'd better check meself tonight as this could explain a lot!

I think that it, under these circumstances, is a good idea.

He will give it a good scare and it might save the pitbull's life.

Often it's the straying dogs, that'll be poisoned.

Easier to do that, than losing face by confronting the owners.

Buddists are often cowards, who'll risk the bad karma from killing a dog.

    Nah; Only kidding

They'll give 20 baht to the monks the next morning and they are Even Steven.

I hear that catholics have similar arrangements

Do you suggest that Mendip bites the poor thing next time they meet ?

Ref the dog hair, speak to a pooch parlour - they are always looking out for dogs for their trainees to practice on for free.

With seven dogs it's difficult to get a picture of the whole pack but I tried this morning.

    Five no problem.

I was about to give up when the daughter came out to leave for school. The dogs get excitable and congregate around her in the morning to see her off... apart from Anna who just watches from the periphery and grizzles at the others.

And then off to see Lola's family on the way to school.

It's nice to see how close Lola and her sister Kamkoon have remained. They'll both be off for speying in a month or so. Yogi usually lets us know when it's time.

Isn't that how it's all going with people as well? All this transgender nonsense. Soon it will want its own Kennel.

^ Actually, you're completely wrong there Stumpy.

Soon they will want their own kennel!
But he won't bloody get it!

After being home for a few days, the routines are back and the highlight of my day is again walking up the road on the way to school with the daughter and Lola.

Lola's (remaining) family all run out to greet us every morning.

The big red dog is Lola's one remaining father, and is also our Tommy's brother. I've discovered that her other father was poisoned by the same guy who beat Suear (Tiger - Anna's previous partner) to death with a stick. Suear belonged to this guy's mother-in-law, as did Lola's dead father. The hammer killer who killed Lola's brother is from a different family. They're all real arseholes yet the community, and their families, put up with and make allowances for these twats. Thai 'society' is the pits in these parts and once the daughter leaves for further education I don't believe she'll ever come back. At least that is my hope and I will use everything in my power to make it so.

Anyway, Lola's mother now wears a muzzle when she's allows out. She's a lovely dog but has obviously taken exception to the hammer killer who caved her son's head in. PJG is doing everything she can to diffuse the situation. I have no problem at all in seeing my daughter pet this 'dangerous' dog and know that nothing but licks will happen. Dogs are a better judge of character than any Isaan fishwife or midget wannabe hard man.

I gave PJG a present today... the cattle prod arrived from China. Let's see how that works on the pit bull. I wish I'd taken a picture of it now for the thread... a piece of Chinese shite but all it has to do is deliver a mild electric shock and our Chinese fish tank pump does that regularly to me even though it isn't supposed to.

I realised today that I have finally lost Lola to the pack. I'd love to sneak her into bed tonight but she spends so much time hunting frogs in the pond with Maya that she would need a damn good hose down before sleeping on my pillow again.

I'm still not ruling it out, however!

Anna is coming into another of her 'faux' seasons. Tommy and Yogi are vying for her attention but Yogi knows that it will be him who gets the pintang! Yogi watches Tommy waste his time while he keeps himself spick and span... and knows that his bi-annual shag will soon be coming up.

Bi-annual... I need some tips, the lucky b'stard!

The Kommandant retired early tonight so Maya and Lola sneaked in while I had dinner with the daughter. These two are inseparable.

    ^Nice family reunion pic No1

Lola still looks smaller and skinnier than her sister (if that is her sister giving her a kiss) which seems strange since Lola scored the sponsorship package
