^ I think that would be a bit weird!

Harry Kane went on another scouting mission today to suss out Portugal.... they may well be an England semi-final opponent after Germany's poor showing, providing all goes to plan of course.
But where was Ronaldo?
Easy... just follow the trail of toys he threw out of his pram following the latest tantrum.
And look at that... what a surprise... Ronaldo was practicing his diving.
You'd have thought he'd perfected his diving by now... but I guess there's always room for improvement
Diving while hogging the ball... that's not like Ronaldo.
But despite our hopes, Anna is predicting a comfortable Portuguese victory over Ghana to maintain her 100% record. But one man doesn't maketh a team... they won't go far.
LOL at post 1703!
I liked the 3rd pic. Ronaldo/ Maya even had that "model" pose (1 leg/ paw slightly bent).
@Mendy - just a piece of friendly girly advice: don't use your Mrs' clothes on the dogs. If my partner was to do that (especially clothes that I still wear and not for disposal), Mt Pinatubo would erupt again.
^ sheeh spoil sport. I think the ladies are afraid Anna will look better in them, after a diet of course, she's a bit pudgy atm
^heh.
A lil pudginess won't hurt anyone. Maya & Anna are both huggable dogs with curves.
Anna needs to work on her calves, they are a bit skinny like Usain Bolts. get her in some heels
^ & ^^^ sorry, i shouldn't be body shaming a dog, don't know what came over me. Apologies Anna.
This thread with it's cross dressing, anthrompodwarwism and general doggedness is rabidly going barking.
Where will it LEAD? A tv series, a deeper talent pool for Mendy or will Anna get an agent and cut out the middle men.
P.S . Please take Katie's advice keep the frilly pants on you not the hounds.
I had already tried 5 Live as a solution the night before. It started off well when I found I did not need a VPN. But it did not pan out when I tuned in to find.... a female commentator on 5-Live!
But when the SBS woman was back on for the Ghana match tonight I had another crack and this time 5-Live had blokes. But then I discovered that the 5-Live online stream has about a 20 second delay. It is too long to be useful really.
However it does fill the gaps. Previously I had been hitting the mute button the TV when the woman commentator started speaking and giving it 20 seconds. But the silence subsides the stadium atmosphere. So now I have 2 mute buttons. 1 in each hand. 1 turns off SBS woman for 20 seconds and the other turns on 5-Live for 20 seconds, which fills in the gap at least with some apropos stadium noise.
I don't watch much football really. I just love to tune in once every 4 years to immerse myself in the madness of the WC football frenzy. So, maybe the world has moved on since I last tuned in and this woman-commentating is now considered normal. It feels a bit jarring to me. But she is only on for about 1 out of every 4 games so I should not complain.
Anyway, I do not want to derail the doglicious daftery of the canine world cup. Kudos to ya Mendy. I am running around a bit just to squeeze in 8 hours of football viewing per day along with life. I would never have time to stage a top dog panto on top. Champion stuff.
^^ You need to get yourself married, Looper.
It may impinge on your lifestyle somewhat, and forget about acrobatics on a hammock, but I find that after many years of wedded bliss I can completely filter out the sound of a female voice. I often see my wife's lips moving but not a word do I hear.
Anna was on the ball () yet again:
Ronaldo penalty decision 'a dive'
Ronaldo would not have been given the opportunity to net his history-making goal had the referee decided Salisu played the ball or the video assistant referee intervened.
Neither saved Ghana, leaving boss Otto Addo fuming afterwards.
He told BeIN Sports: "The referee gave a penalty which was not a penalty - everyone saw that. Why? Because it's Ronaldo or something?"
Asked by a journalist in the post-match news conference if the penalty was given because Ronaldo is a superstar, Addo replied: "Ask the referee.
"I have no proof if he would have decided differently for someone else. There was a contact of players. I don't know what they were doing, was VAR not paying attention?
"The referee was not in our favour today."
Former England defender Matt Upson called it "a dive" on BBC Radio 5 Live, adding: "There's a small bit of contact but there's not enough there to knock him down surely?"

Yeah, we think the same Helge but I reckon his bank account is probably in a better state than mine.
I dare say he has a better social life, as well.
But anyway, before the big match tonight Harry Kane met up with his American counterpart to discuss tournament diet routines... you are what you eat and all that...
We're predicting a comfortable win for England tonight... 5-0 at least, although if the job is done by half time some experimental substituting to protect the key English players may limit the rout.
And commiserations to the Welsh. We hope you can find some comfort despite this sad setback.
^^
its the dogs expressions that make it
Nice touch with the baked beans going to the Yank also
I think for many the big match tonight is Spain vs Germany.
In true Thai style we set up an experiment to predict the outcome of this match and despite the anti-English rhetoric so common on this forum I made every effort to maintain complete impartiality.
A bottle of high class Spanish olive oil in the Spanish corner and a bowl of red cabbage with chopped apple and onion in the German corner... or should I say Deutscher Rotkohl süß-sauer. I had to cover the bowl with clingfilm as we were having the dish for dinner with our pork chops... or maybe Sveinerfleisch, later.
Germany were awarded an early booking for obviously cheating and pushing past the starting line. (and it's only now that I realise how untidy our house looks)
Anyway, first up... Spain. Will it be the Spanish condiment or the German signature dish?
A pretty confident advance down the left wing...
Wow, one indisputable vote for Spain.
Oh dear, Germany's not happy...
Spain leaves the field... it was only meant to be a bit of fun...
So what's next... Spain watches on nervously.
Unbelievable... Germany have voted for Spain as well!
Two votes to nil.
We are predicting 2-0 to Spain.
And despite my impartiality I can't deny that I would love to see Spain win because that could send me to the top half of the Fantasy Football league. And when Germany fly home I would like to see them on the same Lufthansa flight I had back in June... stranded overnight at Munich with no help whatsoever and five months later, despite acknowledgement of liability, no apology, no compensation and no reply to any new communications.
The threat of a Lufthansa flight home may raise the German team to make a real go of the match... it would me.
