^ Don't encourage him, for Christ's sake
I woke up Anna to tell her the Argy-Saudi score tonight. She wasn't surprised.
She said to never underestimate the underdog!
I'm making no generalisations but Anna reckons it's all about preparation and establishing a healthy routine. She's not worried about the Argies if we do meet them in the final... but a long way to go to be sure.
Maybe the apples don't fall far from the tree?
^ I never took you for a bed time, drinking chocolate type, Hal!
Wrong kind of kane!
^ If it was a rolled up US$100.00 bill and a platinum AMEX card on the table I guess the powder wasn't Ajax.
I think that these photo sessions have made Anna feel that she's a valued, productive member of the pack and have helped her to integrate no end.
Before the morning walk she's as much part of the excitement as any of the others.
Today was also annual booster day. The rabies, parvo, heart worm etc inoculations fell behind during Covid and my long absences although there really is no excuse to leave it as long as this. The vet sends a couple of veterinary nurses around to do the shots. This costs an extra 200 Baht which is worth every penny when you have six dogs and the vet is the other side of town.
The two problem dogs are Max and Yogi. I muzzled up Yogi before the vet nurses arrived. He never has bitten and I have no fear of him biting during a normal day... he absolutely worships my daughter and even show's some fondness of Ootai... but he hates to be touched by strangers. Why risk a problem when it's so easy to avoid?
Strangely enough the others waited their turn...
But Yogi was first up, and he wasn't happy about it. More upset than angry, I would say. He tensed up as expected during his two shots, but no growling and no aggression, which was great.
We managed five out of six, which ain't bad. The second problem dog, Max, was just impossible to catch. The guys left pre-loaded syringes for Max and I later fooled him into going for a walk. Once the lead was on, on went the muzzle and he had his shots too.
Another successful day in Isaan.
Meanwhile Anna takes things easy in preparation for her photo shoot tonight.
Harry Kane went on a scouting trip to the Khalifa Stadium today to check out Germany against Japan. If things go very well for us, Germany could be a semi-final opponent for England.
Harry arrived four hours early but would ya believe his chair was already taken...
This led to an awkward stand-off but possession izz 9/10ths of the law, as zey sprechen.
Everything worked out OK and to keep Anna's 100% record we are predicting a close win for... Japan!
Yes, Japan are a surprisingly good team and all the pressure is on Germany... they have to make amends for the South Korea result in Russia.
Game on!
More importantly, why do you own or allow an argie shirt to inhabit your property/ land?
Nice to see all the dogs looking happy!
Good call again by Anna
And a champion dog show Mendy
Does anybody know where I can get a livestream radio commentary on the tinternet as a substitute to SBS TV commentary?
I am enjoying the football festival but I find the SBS equalitarian female commentators a bit incongruous
Looper; loves to fuck women but doesn't want to listen to them.
^^^ Looper, I think that BBC Radio 5 Live takes some beating fir football and sports commentary but you'll need a UK VPN for live world cup commentary.
^^^^ Anna's not a 'fat fuk', it's just that her football kit shrank in the wash.
Does Anna have a Canada kit?
^ Much to my shame I had to check what your kit is... all red by the looks of things.
The daughter has an England away top but I think it'll be too big. We may have to improvise for Canada...
^ Very good point.
In fact the wife's quite militant and I'm sure she'll have a red shirt somewhere, but to be honest I was hoping to avoid dressing Anna up in the wife's clothes during the World Cup as I don't know where it could lead.
