Yeah, I can't remember the last time I listened to Radio 4.

I quite like Dotun Adebayo and am listening to the World Football Phone-in right now, one of the highlights of my week I'm sad to admit.

I prefer some of the stand-ins. Johnny I'Anson is probably my favourite... and he grew up in Weston-Super-Mare.

I keep meaning to re-integrate the pack, but am reluctant to upset the tranquility we have had for the past nine months since it was separated.

Despite past differences, the pack members often congregate either side of the gate to exchange pleasantries.

The problem is, if one scrap starts off, it sets off others... settling past scores.

Anna has never integrated well and a flash point will always be between Anna-Maya or Anna-Lola.

Once either of those start up, Maya or Lola will go to aid their ally, so two onto Anna. In the meantime, that will set off Yogi and Tommy... in which case Max will always go to Yogi's aid.

Coco is the only one not involved. If any fights starts up she legs it down to the pond and hides in the reeds.

But I would still like to see them all together, living in harmony.

She's not that kind of girl, but if she was I would reward her quite generously the way I feel right now.

With the daughter taking up cricket at her new school I impulse-bought a cricket ball on Lazada for a surprise present. She's coming home to visit next weekend and we can start preparing for the Ashes.

This was probably the first time that I've held a cricket ball for nearly half a century and all the memories of bowling demon leg spinners immediately came back. I did a couple of practice bowls and I still have all the actions.

But to be honest it's just a bit boring doing it with the dogs. I'll have to wait until next weekend.

    In the meantime...

Always good to keep bat and balls well lubricated.

^ you bought a low grade clicket ball from the nation of cheats, what kind of example are you trying to set her. You'll need some 240 and 1200 grade to go with that to complete the set.

You are more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize than the other entrant, Dimdawld J. Tramp.

Smith and Warner should have been banned from wearing Aussie colours forever after that deplorable act.

All other honest Aussies have had to endue grief because of their unforgivable action.

    ^ I agree.

If you want to cheat to win, then just cheat. I don't think anyone really cares.

But what makes it so memorable is crying like schoolgirls when caught out.

You won't catch Anna crying... she's as tough as they come. Yesterday I was sitting with her when I noticed a tick attached to her belly. I was pulling and pulling but it just wouldn't come off, and Anna just stared at me. I put my glasses on and discovered that it was a little growth of some sort.

It was, and still is, part of her. It may even be some sort of an extra nipple?

    Likewise Maya... tough.

    Tail pulling...

    Ear pulling...

    No problem.

The key is to pace yourself mate.

I've been 'pacing' for about 18 hours now, so I've still got a bit of fuel left in the tank.

    Unlike Bristol City.
