We had the prefect photo opportunity this morning with Maya happily milling about with Lola and her family. She seems to have made friends with them all... but by the time I'd got me phone out of me pocket, opened the camera app, etc etc, Vua and Tem had given up waiting and fukked off.

I always thought that an advantage of having your own gym was that you didn't have to wait to use equipment. That does me in when I'm at work.

Max was being particularly stubborn today so I turned on the treadmill while he lay there... and I've never seen him move so fast. An easy solution to that problem.

And then it was Coco's turn!

She had six stitches, and I started on the single one on it's own, the easiest.

After snipping the stitch I simply drew out thread with the wife's tweezers.

    Easy!

And a couple of minutes later, the last stitch drawn out and job done. Coco is so easy to deal with.

All the while watched over by the nosy Lola.

Stitches out, cone off and a thorough inspection of the healed wound.

And time to make friends again.

Of course, Yogi's not one to be left out.

Hey, he's quit getting close ups of yogi's nutsack.

    Be thankful for that.

^ I do listen to people's comments, but I'm still open to special requests.

This morning Tem looked on at his harem milling about... and I'm not including myself as part of it but I'm sure he'd like to have Maya join his group of girls.

Maya acts all tough at home with my motley pack of 'gone soft' street dogs, but she realises she's no match for the real thing.

So she needed a reassuring cuddle... the sook.

^ Yes, the same ones... I didn't think that Snakeeyes would approve of me having more than one pair like this.

It was only the 23rd of the month yesterday so I'll be due a change in a week. This ain't some kind of a fashion show, ya know.

I took a peak at Pajama Girl's garden today and to be honest it's a bit unkempt and could do with a trim, although I wouldn't dream of saying anything.

And the lovely Moo Deng... the original Moo Deng.

You can see that her rear left leg is still a bit awkward and when she runs it tends to trail a bit, but she's one happy young dog living a good life.

I feel a bit sorry for Moo Deng to be honest. I know that PJG is struggling to cope with her and that Moo Deng has been causing damage in the house... to my mind all down to boredom and lack of exercise. A tired dog is a well behaved dog, and all that. Moo Deng would love to come out and play with the others but her leg means that she'd be vulnerable to both injury and traffic, so it's a difficult one. I suggested that PJG could keep Vua and Kamkoon in the garden with Moo Deng for a few hours every day, to play together and burn off some of her energy. We shall see. Despite being asked for advice, I am very careful about offering advice in Thailand as I can usually sense the defenses come up as though I'm making some kind of a criticism.

PJG asked if I could take on Moo Deng but I really feel that we have enough.

    Lola would welcome her, however.

    ^ I bet you didn't see this...?

    'Hello, Welcome'!

I sometimes wonder if 18 years in Isaan has caused me irreparable brain damage, but then again, what's wrong with appreciating a pretty girl in a uniform?

And what better uniform than the 7-Eleven?

Yogi agrees... it does something for him as well!

A real chip off the old block.

Indeed a young shaver offering to trim bush needs finesse.

^^ Sadly there's no 'notch on the bed post' story behind this acquisition... Shopee for 99 Baht.

I very much doubt they have your size though, Topper.

I did consider getting a second one for the wife but she just doesn't 'get' this kind of thing.

Yes you did, but she refused it so you go for the dog instead.

That's pretty cool. Never even suspected that.

I'm gonna order a few for meself, as was in Decathlon recently for me annual purchase of 1 year's worth of t-shirts and the quality has gone right down.

Will a get a bit of attention walking around like I work in a 7-11 I rex. But might get a bit weird if I need to go into one.

^ I can send you Anna's if you like?

It's a bit short on her, to be honest.

I'm still attending the Bangkok Hospital for my rabies jabs after the neighbour's cat attack a couple of weeks ago. I tend to pop in on the way back from the afternoon school run since it's on the way. Today was jab number 4 out of 5.

I hadn't noticed at first, but today I conformed that the rabies vaccine is delivered by this R2D2 robot machine thing.

After it turns up the nurse does some stuff...

And then opens up a door and takes out my vaccine.

And afterwards it trundles back to the pharmacy.

    Well cool!

I could do with one of these to bring a Leo down to the pond, now that the daughter is starting to play up.

The great thing that seperates dogs from other animals is how they portray happiness, fear, anxiety, despair, sadness and distrust through their facial expressions...

If the below face was an emoji, what one do you reckon it would be, you fucking nutbar

"Sigh. Here we go again. What a fooking dog's life I've got. I hope next time I'm reincarnated as an elephant a giraffe or a hippo and not some plaything for a crazy English man."

Yeah but she'd be free of the indignity of parading Shopees crotchless knickers, christmas costumes and 7 eleven and Bristol City shirts in one of those sizes, although he'd still pursue her and her shit would never be safe.

Anna is the face of the rescued, rehabilitated street dog. Her emoji would be a big, wide smiley face.

She has a great dog's life and loves it here. If she could talk I'm sure that she would ask to dress up every single day!

By the way, yesterday I noticed a lovely new litter of puppies around eight weeks old just up the road. There's a good chance these guys could share some of Anna's genes, so if anyone is interested, it's the perfect time...

In fact I had no idea that Shopee even sold them.

But a quick investigation in the name of research shows that they have quite a range and I seem to have lost half an hour this morning.

It's amazing what you can get for 10 Baht...

A few more Baht can get you this...

Yeah, yet another thread completely derailed by Reg Dingle.

In a desperate attempt to steer it back on topic, here is a picture of an unmistakably very happy 7 Eleven girl!

I was living in Ramkamhaeng 35 years ago when I got my laundry back from the shop, and it contained a pair of crotchless knickers.

I wasn't sure if it was a mistake, a loyalty bonus or a hint.

Anyway, they weren't my size and a 'cinderella's slipper' style competition was deemed impractical.
