Coco joined in my daughter's online video lessons today.

She's proving to be a remarkable little dog!

It was quiche night tonight... had 'em queuing at the door, and who can blame them... can't beat a nice quiche.

The Commandant was out tonight, so the bravest dogs inched their way in towards the prize. Coco stayed at the door way, not yet confident of her place...

It was a lovely 'relatively' cool 31 degrees and overcast in Korat today. I thought I'd sneak off to my favourite relaxation spot and start reading my first book in many months.

No sooner had I sat down and I was discovered... Coco and Max have the whole bladdy garden to play in.

    I decided to press on...

    Then Yogi turned up...

    And then Tommy...

At this point I gave up... looks like I'll be re-reading Page 1 tomorrow.

I think it's safe to say that Coco has well and truly settled in!

If they ever decide to mate, you know what to call their offspring.

Ha ha... but I'd call them a bladdy miracle Nev.

Max lost his knackers a couple of years ago!

But... if Tommy or Yogi decide to get it on... the choice of the litter is yours!

A day in the life... with a pack of ex-soi dogs. I wouldn't swap it for the world!

Coco had a check-up at the vets today... and she's doing great. Had her second Parvo jab and the first for Rabies.

She weighs 9.05kg now, so has put on 50% of her body weight since she turned up four weeks ago at a little over 6kg.

Daughter and dog asleep in the car on the way back from the vets... this is what makes it all worth while and what it's all about. (with JPPR2 approved wiring)

If I had me time again I wouldn't get married for sure, but I'd still take on these guys and give them a home.

A little later and I heard Yogi's snake bark. I was too late... and here is a dead rat snake that had been tossed into the pond. Yogi in the lead of course... he's a ruthless killer.

One of the few times Yogi and Tommy stop squabbling with each other... they team up and get it sorted.

I don't like that they kill the snakes, but unless I'm on the spot I can't stop them. Next time they kill a big rat snake I've decided to cook it, I hate to waste an animal that's been killed. Maybe even a belt as well!

And later on... Coco in the thick of it. She was nearly dead four weeks ago and now she's an active member of the pack. She has been without doubt, the most rewarding of our rescues. All the others had been taken on as young puppies so didn't have the bad times. Coco did... and she seems to revel in having a home and really appreciates it!

And bedtime in the gardener's kitchen! Coco has top spot!

Good night Coco! Relax, you've got a home now!

Don't get a wife... rescue a soi dog. It's way more rewarding!

And they're always glad to see you when you get home, even if you haven't seen them all week and was out playing golf when they got home even though it's a lockdown and you haven't seen your mates for months and just wanted a few beers to relax after a hard working week.
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

^ Exactly! They accept the awful Sterling exchange rate, the oil price crash and closed borders as being outside of my control. They don't tell me to sort that stuff out... they just want a meal a day and a walk!

    Gotta love 'em!

^What's the old gag about seeing who loves you more between your wife and your dog? Something about locking them both in the boot of your car for 10 hours then seeing which one is happier to see you once you let them out

I'd never lock one of my dogs in a car boot mate.

The dog doesn't remember that thing I said 6 years ago. Or if she does she doesn't bring it up.

I remember bringing our rescue dog home a few years ago, the kids were loving it all and so was the dog.

I've had three dogs in my life, but this last one is the best.
He'll run and play all day then sit guard at the front window watching who goes by. If anyone steps foot on the drive then AWACS unleashes hell.

He protected the youngest from a pit bull attack just after we first got him when he was a puppy.

He saw the same pit bull a couple of years later and savaged it, long memory.

All three kids ride him like a horse around the house and he loves the attention.

The wife for the first year kept saying "Either the dog goes or her" , I kept replying "I'll help you pack your bags".

Sad to say... but for me the finer points of hygene have long gone during this lockdown. With day after day rarely leaving the house, regular underwear changes are a thing of the past.

At first I used my daily swim as an excuse to change undergear, but now I just leave my manky old boxers on and the swim acts as a shower and clothes wash.

...hygiene hint: drizzle a little honey on your privates and let the dogs do the rest...did I mention that saliva is anti-bacterial?...

If they stick to the wall when you chuck them at it, then unfortunately it's time to purchase a new pair.
