A good dentist in Surin- Dr Air

The purpose of this thread is to tell you about Dr Air who is a ‘General Practitioner’ dentist working in Surin, Isan.

Dr Air has been previously mentioned in a thread (post) on this forum entitled 'Surin or Sisaket dentist'. A member ‘baldrick’ refers to her on that thread with regards to the Modern Smile clinic. She has been working at the ModernSmile clinic for a long time now and is the only dentist there that can speak English.

Dr Air doesn’t work for the government hospital anymore. She now works the morning shift at Ruampaet private hospital Monday-Friday from 9am to 11am. She then works Monday to Friday 11am to 230pm at the Modern Smile clinic and both Saturday and Sunday (all day).

Dr Air is really experienced with complex root canal / ‘impacted tooth’ procedures. She also does a lot of crowns, dentures, implants and fillings. The teeth cleaning and other small jobs are usually done by the junior dentists but she can obviously do that as well if the clinic is quiet.

Dr Air is very sensible in her diagnosis and assessment of complicated cases and has no hesitation in referring patients to specialist Dentists for second opinions when necessary (i.e. Endodontist and Dental pathologists). She is 100% not motivated by money but by the doing the right thing by the patient.

She is one of the few dentists in Surin that speaks fluent English and thus treats a lot of farang.

    cheers

Do they have a proper dental x-ray machine in house? Or do you have to go to the hospital for x-rays and bring them back?

I need to schedule a dental check-up but I want a completely in-house one stop shop place without driving all over the joint for remedial shit.

I book her to get her to do mine - though she has been doing it for years for me - price has increased , but I claim on insurance anyway.

but yes - I recommend her , though the most complex thing she has done for me was pull my last wisdom tooth
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

I just found out that Dr Air has now moved to Chanthaburi and has opened up a clinic down there called 'Dr Air Dental'.

    https://www.facebook.com/pg/Dr.AirDe...=page_internal

Dam it, I will now have to find a new dentist in Surin as its too far to travel to Chanthaburi. Anyone got any recommendations?
