    Mukdahan resorts with pool.

Have to go and renew my visa in Savanhket next month, now, that it's a same day service, don't have to stay in Lao overnight.
Thinking of staying the night in Mukdahan, wife want's a look at the market there, so looking or a resort with pool, 2 kids that love water.
Will be driving so locations no problem, any recommendations. Jim

This place might be worth a go Jim, it's got a 10m pool, should be Ok for the kids. -

You'v also got the Ploy Palace and Mukdahan Grand in town, standard 4 star hotel type places with pools. Mukdahan Manor is about 3 clicks south of the Indochine markets.

Looks good as well, I don't care where, as long as they serve beer and there's a pool to tire the kids out.
Adjoining rooms sounds good, if the budget stretches that far.
    Thanks, Jim

Ploy Palace has always worked out well for me over the last many years.

Mukdahan Grand can often be a little odd & is a bit seedy, from last recollection. There is a gay singer who always try to offload himself onto Westerners. Has chased more then one couple away from the place.

Cheers, will keep well away from gay singers, probably keep away from any singers.
Didn't see a pool in the Ploy palace when I did a search on accommodation.
