There's quite a lot of rain here now and the thunder / lightning has started. Overhead briefly, but, moving on quite quickly.

Rainy again with no break in the clouds. Our darn septic tank doesn't work as we drained it two days ago and now its full. The groundwater is seeping into it. What a headache!

Seems every city is in a floodplain here in Thailand. Well, a lot of the rest of it floods, too. We are up high enough that we'll never see a flood. Stay safe as some are certainly going to see flooding that is unexpected. When will it end? Actually, I like rain and wild weather. It makes life interesting.

Looks like another possible storm forming after this weekends.

A bit of dated info, but the wife went to Prasat last week.

Said she drove for MILES on HWY 24 & it was just a lake all around her. The road was OK though.

She only stayed a few days & some local Government boob had finally opened some floodgates on a dam somewhere & the water was going away.

Got this typhoon looming in now though.......

The farmland around my house (Chomphra) is still not visible, it's like a giant pool next to my house.

Been raining heavy with winds for 18 hours here, still pissing down.
Think some of you are in for a drenching and I thought it was over for this year.
Been wetter than 2011 or just took longer to fall, plus is freezing cold, well under 20 C, wind chill. Jim

Don't know where it's going, but it's still pissing down here, with wind and cold. would not want to be down river in flat land.
Bridges and road close here again. Jim

It has been raining for 20 hours now but it's not so bad I guess. Some people are walking around with gloves and hats though

Hmm, I better check out my house next to the river... there was still water surrounding my house from the big flooding a few weeks ago.

I'm driving up to Sangkha tomorrow. I hope Highway 24 is dry.
