I put a bet on a horse at twenty to one, he never came in til twenty past four.
Form will only confuse you, they don't juice the horses until just before they parade and after they have decided who will win.
horses or donkeys ?
Only one way to win....keep the money in your pocket. Do you think that horse racing in Thailand could be non corupt.
I'm not really a betting man but have been there on a couple of occasions with friends and the girls seem to enjoy the day despite not being in the Toffs Arena.
Parking is easy and the course has a large stand for the punters and plenty of refreshments on offer below. All the races appear to be of similar distance and generally the field really only has a couple of horses capable of actually winning the race.
The locals seem to wait until the very last moment to place their 20 baht stake. Suggest you do similar.
nope . I should imagine there is more money riding on one race there than the entire yr in Kk
get in the stand with the Hiso's and listen to what there doing onto a sure winner
Without form can still pick winners by studying them in the mounting yard pre race. I'll just have to do that if they have one.
They should do. At Udon races they sell Thai & English form guides.Originally Posted by waradmiral

Although most forms of gambling in Thailand is banned, the state lottery and horse racing are the only two activities which are considered legal....So I've been told

I guess most rural Racecourses would be the same
Hey if you are interested in seeing old nags compete against each other for the win then why not visit the khon Kaen bar scene. Same thing, different location.
