Hi guys in the North east.

i have just had some details from a company in korat that sells good western foods, fresh and frozen.

if anyone is interested in any of his goods google Koratchef, i would post the link though not sure Admin here would he to happy about free advertising.

Seems he is heading upto Ubon next week so could be good to possibly sample his foods.

I am waiting to hear back from him to see if its ok to post his email on here.

If theres enough interest i would be interested in being the collection point and possibly holding all products in my freezer for possible sales.

ive had his bacon, sausages and cheese, all good, and delivered to me at the walrus bar in korat

Always good to get some nice pies,sausages etc etc but not good for these guys is local stores are holding european food .I was in Banger not long ago and bought some branston picikle marmite colmans mustard but expensive.Makros also now hold sausages bacon bread burgers cheeses which u would not have seen 18 months ago.

What some People need to realise is that all persons providing western foods to anyone that lives in the sticks is that there providing a service that is not always available to us.

sure BKK and Pattaya etc have many such shops etc in the country we have Tesco, big C that provide near to nothing but at inflated prices.

So anyone that has a negative comment about such providers needs to think before making comments.

Outside of the predictable commercial offerings of Western "delicacies" at your expected Big C, Tesco, and Makro - there is a wealth of private establishments throughout Isaan that stock hard-to-find Western goods....preserved and fresh.
