We Could Fly So High, Let Our Spirits Never Die. In My Heart I Feel You Are All My Brothers.

Create A World With No Fear. Together We'll Cry Happy Tears.
See The Nations Turn Their Swords Into Plowshares.

We Could Really Get There If You Cared Enough For The Living.
Make A Little Space To Make A Better Place...

Heal The World. Make It A Better Place For You And For Me And The Entire Human Race. There Are People Dying.
If You Care Enough For The Living Make A Better Place For You And For Me.

But say a prayer, pray for the other ones. At this time it's hard, but when you're having fun...
There's a world outside your window, and it's a world of dread and fear.
Where the only water flowing is the bitter sting of tears...
And the Christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom.
Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you...

    Feed the world, etc

I lived in a Place that had no crime even though the nearest police station was 22 miles away. There was no vandalism and most people left there car keys behind the sun visor .If you were doing something , others would come over and lend a hand. If someone caught fish , many got a share.
It worked because everyone knew everyone else and peer pressure was very strong. Even the 'Yoofs' behaved since they new they would be seen if they didn't! Old folk were visited and able to offer there knowledge to the younger. That was how I learned my sea craft , from an old fisherman of 90 who told me to try to close my eyes and use my ears and sense of smell to 'read' the water. It works .
    That was Pollperro in Cornwall.
It wasn't utopia but it was better than the life I see in the city's!
Maybe we should look to quality of life more than the consumerism we are taught almost from birth now?
Don't get me wrong, being poor sucks --I've been there but a lot of the stuff you just want , you don't need!

The food problem is easy to solve.
Just annihilate countries until there is enough food for everyone surviving.

America appears to have already drawn up the list.

^ Is that an optical illusion or does the woman in your avatar actually change the way she spins now and then?

Amazing illusion, isn't it? The ballerina was designed for that purpose. She actually doesn't have a fixed direction of spin. It is produced by the brain.
I usually see her turning left, rarely experience change of direction.

Or an easy and more practical manner would be to exterminate those populations that find it necessary to mindlessly waste and consume, just for the sake. Two fold, actually - as we also stem the disease [mindset] that these same societies spread the world over. Problem solved.

The greatest gift they'll get this year is life
    Ooooooooohhhhh
    Where nothing ever grows
    No rain nor rivers flow

all that fundraising - have they got snow and rivers in Africa yet?

I have never had snow at Christmas either.

^ that's great news. Should we be thanking Sir Bob Geldof for that?
Next you'll be telling me that something is growing, and rivers are flowing, in Africa

    Welcome B Shah
well what a lovely idea for thread, on a sunny Sunday morning too!!

I cannot speak for the world, but here is my idea how to make Britain better-
lets get lots of those ice cream vans on the streets playing John Lenons Imagine.
    Here is the clever part
Inside are British solders ( not needed abroad for illegal wars )
any time they spot any gays or immigrants , out they pour
and well......... make the world a better place !!

Britain will be like Trumpton again in no time

We need to get the fok off this world relatively soon, start with Mars, maybe mine the shit out of there, and eventually we'll need to build self sufficient crafts that can carry us through the universe or humanity will turn into cosmic dust if we make it that far.
