    Gudday from NZ

Kiwinev, just joined this forum. Have been on as a guest a couple of times. I have been in and out of Thailand since 1981. Married to Isaan girl for 18 years, 3 boys oldest 18 this month. Living in New Zealand but plans are to retire in Issan, Loeng Nok Tha area to be precise. Waiting for the boys to move out of the shack, save a shitload of money then head north. (Cunning plan for sure)
Good to read the banter and info on this forum, very useful advice and of course some funny stuff as well.

    Bay of Islands

Nice up in the Bay of Islands, still a little bit out of the way and quiet except in the holidays. Warm sub tropical climate, not a bad place to retire.

Out of the way ? when you retire to Loeng Nok Tha you will really know what out of the way is and you will apprciate some quiet.
Living in the Thai country side ain't for every body Nev, it takes a special breed (of alcoholic) to weather it.
