DD. Tell your son that we didn't actually eat that one as we were on a guided tour and it is illegal to eat crocodiles. Yep our stupid government has decided that there aren't enough crocs in australia nad they need protecting - so we didn't eat that one but we hve done a croc on the spit a few times in the past.

The best bush tucker however is wallaby (kangaroo) simply divine.

I do like a bit of kangaroo meself. Goes alright with lingonberry jam, and the taste is surprisingly similar to young moose.

Bung was a nickname in I ended up with in Australia years ago.

If you are familiar with the Wizard of Id cartoon strip Bung was the drunken court jester. somehow people made a connection....

When I was working in Phuket Bung meant "Old Brother" to Thai Muslims so it stuck here too. Unfortunately it also means swamp cabbage.....

Anyway, I'm off for a look around here.
